Funky Fat were first seen on the label with the ‘Masochist EP’, their joint venture with fellow Brazilian stars Digitaria, which received critical acclaim across the board for its fresh fusion of electro, disco and pop. Inheriting his passion for music through his father, DeMarzo enrolled into the Yamaha Keyboard School at the age of 8 where he got his first taste of creativity.

Years of writing and performing live became natural and nights spent watching Jazz improv’s became highly influential. Whilst studying music technology at college he began producing his own material. As a multi-instrumentalist, his obligation to inject ‘groove’ into both his productions and sets began to arouse more and more interest. DeMarzo’s sound is a meticulously crafted one. His toxic perfectionism and shrewd sense of rhythm lead him naturally to where he is today. His well-revised sets include anything from underground deep house to main room deep tech.

This deep twisted track with majestic vocals by Ted Dade is one of our favorites this fall. Been on heavy rotation in the SSR office. A well crafted piace with the perfect blend of bass, rhytms and the vocal to top it of mix a nice blend. This has beavy potential to be a sing a long in the light as dark parts. 

On the remix side we have a well known duo called https://soundcloud.com/dragon-suplex. Their interpretation focus on raising the bpm and the dancefloor. Hypnotic vocals open the track accomplished with a sexy groove. Twistes and pads to fit once again the lovely vocal and spike the track into another piece of fine work.

 Over the course of 8 eventful years since their genesis as the Droog collective, the Los Angeles-based trio – Andrei, Brett & Justin – have become true Renaissance men of underground dance music.
