“The world’s going dark and I need a light” is one of the heartfelt lines in Travis James’ new single 'End of the World'. Written during isolation, it was Travis' way, like many artists, to express his feelings and the search for hope during hard times. "I want people to be reminded that the things that get us through in this life are not the things we see. In times like these, if you can look past the material things, you might be able to find peace amidst all the chaos”, says Travis.

Co-produced with Tiago De Renor, the song came to life as a response to Travis' struggle with loneliness. He wasn't alone, though. The music video for 'End of the World', which comes out with the song, features people from all over the world holding signs of things they've learned not to take for granted. It's a reminder that no matter where or who you are, we are humans and have more in common than we think.

"End of the World" is just not a pandemic song. It's about coping and looking for hope when times are hard. “This song is really about needing a light in a time where the world has been feeling pretty dark. So much has been happening with the world outside of the pandemic, I hope people can relate to this song no matter what they're going through and that it helps them keep going. It's a project that we're really proud of and I can't wait for everyone to hear it."
