Был холодный, ненастный вечер, и чтобы погреться, я зашел в первую 
открытую дверь и оказался в маленьком уютном антикварном магазинчике. 
За прилавком сидел приятного вида седой старичок и бережно протирал 
стекло песочных часов, а рядом стояли еще несколько таких же часов 
разного размера, с разным объемом песка, 
и у каждых была своя история.

1. Вот песочные часы,
    В них песчинки видишь ты.
    Точный счет им знает лишь создатель.                                  
    Для одних - песчинок горсть,
    Для других  - щепотку брось,	
    Третьим же - лишь несколько досталось.

    Там прозрачное стекло,
    Так бесхитростно оно,
    Ничего скрывать не помышляет.
    Страх увидеть то, что есть,
    Глупость, лень и самa лесть
    Пеленой глаза нам застилают.

2. Жизнь моя - как те часы.
    В них песчинки - это дни,
    И на дне песка уже немало.
    Где-то я на полпути - 
    Юность с детством позади,
    Навсегда родимый дом оставил.

    Что я, где, куда иду,
    Потеряю иль найду -
    Как и все ответить я пытаюсь.
    Будет счастье впереди,
    Или встречи с ним не жди?
    Может быть, за дюнами осталось?

3. Я несу в груди огонь,
    Он мой компас, он мой конь,
    Он с другими встретится огнями.
    Он не гаснет день за днем,
    Тлел он с детства угольком,
    Разгораясь ярче лишь с годами.

    Верить я ему привык,
    Пусть он обжигает.
    И сгорю дотла я весь когда,
