Articulat took shape in multicultural Rotterdam as a fusion of harbour roughness and homeland nostalgia. The approach to music is physical, ritualistic and often sprinkled with curiosities. Structure, rhythm and texture are tools used for creating audio experiences and dance floor narratives.
