This is another chapter in my journey into the unknown. Some choose to write, some to paint, I have chosen music as the vehicle to share with you my faith, my knowledge, and my being. 
Laid open in front if you is another adventure in my quest for oneness, my personal journey into the deep dark universe of my existence. I emerged as the Navigator, having learned the secrets of the Soul. So I set out to reconnect with my ancestry and my heritage, and returned the Mother to the ancestral lands of old, waking up Odin from his slumber hanging from Yggdrasil. Uniting them after eons of war and ravages. So peace shall reign supreme once again through all 9 Worlds.

Time is not linear! 

My Archaic project was born around in 2004 and the name was inspired from books like "The Archaic Revival" written by Terrence McKenna  and Mircea Eliiade´s all time classic "Shamanism and the Archaic Techniques of Ecstasy”……
 
My music in those year was a bit different, but the concept, the ideas and the spirit was the same as today.
So I decided to go back in time to find the title of this Digital Gift EP and i came up with
"Archaic's medicine bag" which was the title of a mini album that i produced in CD format and I was selling it from hand to hand and from friend to friend!

Back to today! In the “Medicine bag" you will find 2 tracks, one Archaic and one Avaris.
The Archaic "Ringing Cedars" track is inspired from the beautiful Siberian
Cedar Trees and the Myths around them!
The Avaris "Shamanic Overtones” is a low tempo atmospheric
psychedelic ambient chill but with intense rhythmical parts
in a very organic environment.

The music here doesn’t requires or demands perfectionism and does not follow
some specific styles. The expression is raw  and uncensored.
Perfection is an illusion in our multi layered and full of complexity beloved
Music, as is the modern psychedelic trance. I believe that
Music has memories by itself and if we remember our roots and how we started
on our path, then we can take inspiration direct from our selves and bring back 
the missing parts of our souls.

The last Track before the Outro is a special selection for my swiss german friends, they will get the track title , but to kind of translate it it means: Spacemusic for young Alp cowherders :)
doesn't have the same ring as it has in swiss german...
I don't think I would play it at a party but it has a lot of the old school scifi music in it I grew up with  :) 


As usual directly recorded with two cdj players and a mixer, and in case you wonder about certain samples , I take some tracks and cut parts or add some samples before recording , the only adjustments i made afterwards is slight volume levels

Biography Dj Larsik: 

A trailblazer going back to the early days, his journey began as a DJ in local discos at the end of the '80s, where he immersed himself in the burgeoning sounds of Acid House and Techno Music. Those formative years, steeped in the raw energy of electronic music's revolution laid the foundation for a career spanning decades and continents.

His sonic journey traverses the globe like a melodic cartographer painting rhythmic stories across continents.
