Finishing my trilogy set of the origins of Goa and Psychedelic Trance as we know it, starting and ending the recording with a tribute to one of the most influential bands that inspired those freaks and travelers on these tranquil beaches in Goa, to organize these New Wave parties that turned into worldwide phenomenon…. The band “Yello” from Switzerland, coincidentally also the one band that inspired my teenage mind to new heights, upon hearing their debut album, I was blown away and it ignited my inner desire to express my creativity. One of the biggest reason why I became an artist.
After the intro I am delving into the progression of the music that lead to the sound of what became to be known as Goa Trance. From obscure B-Sides to more and more elaborate expressions of early Techno and New wave, to the first music written specifically for the Goa Experience. 
Also trying to showcase, the various rhythms and grooves that started to merge into the sound that defined the genre, or as one of the originators of the early Goa parties said, they were trying to combine square rhythms with round rhythms to create a sound that moves body, mind, and soul….

The hardest thing to do was to make the choice what to play, as there is so much great and awesome music from that time period.  Anyway I really hope you enjoy this set as much I had fun recording it, and remember Don’t Panic life is just a ride, but what a ride it is :)

Having gallantly borne the artistic pseudonym "Olowanpi" for over two decades, the protagonist in question has resolved to retire said moniker. The decision stemed from an innate conviction that the prolonged engagement with this persona has exhausted the reservoir of conceivable variations and manifestations, effectively culminating in a saturation of the intended experiences within that energetic realm.
He has perennially regarded the artist's nomenclature as akin to a theatrical alias, affording the opportunity to enact a character and immerse oneself in the essence of the archetype. A palpable need and fervent desire have now emerged, compelling him to embark on a journey of creative renewal—a metaphorical rebirth, reminiscent of the phoenix transcending the remnants of antiquity. In this metamorphic process, the notion of assuming a novel identity beckoned, as if to script a new chapter in the grand narrative of artistic expression.
It is not without a touch of irony that the decision to cast off the old moniker is further motivated by the perpetual mispronunciation or misattribution of his erstwhile DJ sobriquet, adding a whimsical note to this poignant transformation. :)

Biography Dj Larsik: 
A trailblazer going back to the early days, starting as a DJ in local discos at the end of the ‘80s immersing himself into the burgeoning sounds of House and Techno Music, then freshly delivered from Ibiza. He embarked upon an odyssey of musical exploration, culminating in the discovery of Goa Trance in the early ‘90s, fostering a lifelong love story for both the music and accompanying culture. Co-founder of the groundbreaking and influential record label Dropout Productions in the early 2000s. 
He orchestrated and organized noteworthy events, exemplified by the iconic Arche Goa parties featuring luminaries such as Goa Gil, Nina Hagen, and the surprise guest Albert Hofmann - his lifelong friend and mentor. Another milestone in his portfolio includes the closing soirée, set on a vessel, commemorating the centennial celebration of the LSD inventor, attended by the crème de la crème of the Psychedelic Establishment.

He has been a disciple of the Healing Arts for as long as he can remember, with music as his chosen medium and conduit for sharing his knowledge. His sets are carefully crafted embodiments of his quest to actualize a profound sense of purpose and the celebration and joy of existence. Each set is a spontaneous creation, finely tuned to the prevailing energy and tailored to the needs of the moment. 
Born under the Tzolkin sign of the Yellow Solar Star, pulsating with the inherent ability to instill order upon chaos, he possesses an intrinsic perceptibility to beauty and an unmatched skill to transmute any dancefloor into temporary realms of bliss and ecstasy. He thrives and excels in assisting events through decades of experimentation and explorations into the mystical unknown. He aspires to witness the dawn of a new Golden Age, where equal opportunities for abundance resonate universally.

Throughout the years, he has meticulously refined his artistry as a DJ on a global scale, weaving sonic tapestries in diverse landscapes. From enchanting beaches and majestic mountain tops to the depths of lush forests, ancient ruins, and majestic castles. His sonic voyage extends seamlessly to vibrant urban settings, gracing prominent clubs, lively street celebrations, love parades, and renowned festivals.
