Conceptualized in 2013, Colombian artists Alejo Cortes and Carlos Lopez aka NuFects decided to undertake a project full of energy, joy, colour and intrigue. They started producing progressive and organic house under the name NuFects, quickly earning recognition from Hernan Cattaneo, Nick Warren and Cid Inc, along with very important local talents Dabeat, Gux Jimenez and Kamilo Sanclemente. Also finding a place in the more melodic uptempo realms of the genre, legends Paul Oakenfold and Solarstone became NuFects supporters, playlisting their music and making the duo a legit crossover act. 2023 has proved to be a prolific year for NuFects, releasing standout projects via Clubsonica, Movement Recordings, Suza Records and WARPP. The duo also took to re-imagining Sasha's classic production 'Belfunk' earlier this year, an unofficial and in demand remix which has featured in their sets of late, and is now available as a free download. Berlin-based Morgen graces us with a house-infused LOKD024. Subtle basslines and a back-beat-driven groove touch the early rays of light, unfolding springtime right into our ears.
