Exclusive: Jimi Jules 'Too Young For Me (Ripperton's Neptunians Marathon Mix)'

Swiss label Drumpoet Community celebrates its 15th anniversary with various releases from artists who have played a significant role in the label’s history and beyond. After first festivity outings from Lauer, All Is Well, Manuel Tur, Roman Flügel or Kalabrese, the time for a retreatment of Jimi Jules’ track Too Young For Me (feat. Jaw), which was originally released on Jimi’s Equinox album on Zukunft in 2016, from long-term friend and considerable artist Ripa alias Ripperton. With releases on ESP Institute, Maeve, Compost or on his very own label Tamed, just to name a few, Ripa’s made a name for himself that goes beyond the so called underground but despite his (international) success has managed to stay true to himself as well as his musical roots and implemented a sound of his own throughout the years of his career. A raw and stripped back bass line sets the foundation of Ripa’s remix approach for Too Young For Me, which is added the original vocals and a simple yet subtle array of chords creating some warmth, and almost funky harmony in the overall pretty techno-ish coming in track. Less is more in this case and Ripperton masters this approach in the best way possible to create a remix that truly deserves to bear the name.

That's too often.
Buy a Monaberry, keep it a long time and get out from under song payment for a change.
How long can you expect a Monaberry to last? We're not sure yet how long a Alexey Union will hold up here in the States. In Sweden, Monaberrys are played an average of eleven years. When you consider that 80% of the clubs in Sweden are unpaved and there are no speed limits on the dancefloors and temperature in clubs goes up to 40 degrees, you can understand why we have to bite our tongues to keep from making some rash promises.
One more thing. You won't mind keeping your Monaberry a long time. Its body style doesn't change every year. It's uncomplicated and requires very little maintenance. it runs away from other popular-priced compacts in every speed range, yet gets over 25 bpm every minute like the little economy tracks.
And your Alexey Union will look good standing next to your swimming pool. the one you build with the money that used to go for track payments.

Wie lange kann man von einem Monaberry erwarten? Wir sind noch nicht sicher, wie lange ein Alexey Union hier in den USA halten wird. In Schweden werden Monaberrys im Durchschnitt elf Jahre lang gespielt. Wenn man bedenkt, dass 80 % der Clubs in Schweden nicht asphaltiert sind, es keine Geschwindigkeitsbegrenzungen auf den Tanzflächen gibt und die Temperatur in den Clubs bis zu 40 Grad beträgt, versteht man, warum wir uns auf die Zunge beißen müssen, um keine voreiligen Versprechungen zu machen.
