Vanessa Holliday’s insatiable curiosity about the true origins of the universe and thinking in terms of energy, frequencies and vibrations, has led her to experiment and to infuse special transformational vibrational frequencies into her productions, thereby creating music that truly resonates positively with humanity. She is constantly pushing boundaries, transcending rules and trends, creating her own distinctive sound and offering music that in its purist form expresses freedom, expansion of consciousness, truth and love.

Vanessa has been entertaining crowds through vinyl since her teens. Her passion for music lead her to study Advanced Music Production at Soul Candi, piano as well as experimenting with production technology in her live sets. With her fingers in a world of soulful and deep melodic music making, Vanessa has been signed to Heads & Tails Record Label, by far one of the most established deep/nu-disco house labels in South Africa. She has also recently been signed to Sullivan Room Records in NYC, one of the longest running underground house and techno institutions.

Vanessa’s first EP release “Deep Layers” is an elegant serving of her musical productions. This EP was inspired by her cavernous passion for electronic dance music and producing. It’s heartfelt, deep and incorporates the many layers of her creative expression. She is constantly improving her skills on her productions, as she believes that you can never know too much in the world of production - you learn something new every day.

Vanessa has been DJing for almost 10 years - growing from club and festival performer, to radio presenter, savvy businesswoman and producer, taking her love for sublime beats on the journey. With roots in vinyl and playing progressive trance, Vanessa is one of the first female performers to sustain the ever-changing scene, exploring sounds which she does not limit herself to one sound, technology, dancing, singing, fashion and even piano lessons, as an intrinsic part of her creative expression.

Today, her music is inspired by a more intelligent sound, avant-garde underground, still influenced with a melodic undertone. She favours a blend of euphoria, femininity and finesse and indulges the productions of Alex Niggemann, Pantha Du Prince, Jon Hopkins and Deniz Kurtel, among others. Her work on the club circuit has taken her beyond the borders to London, India and Ibiza, as well as all over SA and deep into Africa. Here, experiencing the cultures in Kenya, Botswana, Zimbabwe and Namibia, inspired her tribal rhythms.

Vanessa has done shows on some of SA’s best-loved community and web radio stations, including Dance Web Radio, MFM in Stellenbosch, 2Oceansvibe and Assembly Radio. 
“The Underground Radio Show - you are what you listen to,” a radio show hosted every Wednesday from 4-6pm on Assembly Radio, was created so that she can experiment with a more subversive and underground sound to push boundaries and share creative musical DNA comprising of sounds that are anomalous and contagiously unique.

Vanessa Holliday has no qualms about her endeavour to consistently improve herself and her technical performance, and it’s this same graceful approach to working for success and impressive ambition that has propelled her into starting her own communications and events company. 

Younique Concepts specializes in PR for the music & entertainment industry, as well as staging their own events and collaborating with other artists all over the world. A large part of this role functions within the music industry, a connection she’s grateful to be making.

Peja (real name Amedeo Mazzotti) is an underground techno producer from Rome. His journey through the music industry started ten years ago with his first release, but his music culture has been built long before.

Vinyl collector and 360° music listener, Peja has been influenced from a lot of music from the underground record shops in Rome and his roots has been based on turntables and vinyl.

His sets in the most influential countries for the electronic music, like Holland ,Germany or France, helped to increase and maturate a specific and rough sound for his sessions.

Peja’s peculiarity is always present in his music, big room bass and an overdrived sound like his “Acid planet” is a great example of the power from his tracks.

Fastidious in the studio, Peja approaches his production with attention to detail ,he is always ready to capture and interpret his feelings to insert in his productions and always aim to give his own interpretation of a track.

His numerous releases led him to collaborate and be remixed from well known names in the techno scene like Roberto Capuano, Florian Meindl, Rich Jones just to name a few, and his tracks has been charted and played by the most influential artists around.

A. Lee a.k.a. Anthony Lee is a passionate dj, singer & producer. He does not only fill the party people with enthusiasm through his popular house-sets but also with his own live vocals during his DJ performance which sometimes is the cause for goose pimples among the crowd. His sets include a top-mix of vocal-, uplifting & pumping' house till to the rocking' cool deephouse sound. His references go through many clubs world wide.

As well his productions, which are sometimes enriched with his own vocals, are really promising. Drop The Junk are Chris Rossi & Kit Mason from Harroagte and Glasgow. This dynamic duo have started a colloboration at the start of this year that cover the spectum of house music and more !!

Along with a few others they run a night called solidgroove and have been signed to a Dutch record label called KYNATIX .

solidgroove is a local night supporting local DJs and producers in order to revive the underground house scene localy whilst gaining supprot and recognition from around the globe.

Kit Mason started DJing at the age of 14 and at 17 he atended Leeds Collage Of Music where he did a DJ corse.He then proceeded to get DJ slots around Harrogate & leeds playing house music and then peeked at at the age of 25 where he played at the massive hard house event Sundisential.

After time Kit got bord of playing other peoples records and wanted to start something of his own so it was back to the collage to do a poruduction corse where he picked up the skills to get him where he is today.

Along side house , tech house & techno Kit likes a wide range of music from chill out to broken beat to abstract funk , house step and dubstep and has releases on FUISON NETLABELl .

Chris Rossi is originally from Glasgow but has lived in Harrogate for 10 years. Chris started he music career 8 years ago when he went to Leeds Collage of Music for Dj and Production courses, a few years later he went to Manchesters School of Sound Recording to study music production again at a higher level. After collage Chris's career took off while collaborating with Alex Calver (Calvertron) on a wide range of genres such as Hard Dance, Electro and Tech-House with his first release called "Too Spicy" being supported by such artists as Judge Jules, Eddie Halliwell, Kate Lawler, Mightyfools, AC Slater and Dj Jelo to name a few.

In 2007 Chris started his international career by playing 2 tours in South Africa and Zimbabwe at such places and events like Sun City, Wet & Wild, Sound Factory Events and more.

Chris's passion has always been Dance Music no matter what the style or genre. With a huge collection of productions under his belt and with a whole load more on the way keep your eyes peeled in the future.

What can you say about an artist who grew up in the sheltered village of Bergisch Gladbach, a suburb of Cologne, and who has enjoyed a classical music education since his childhood? Who next to his training on the piano, trombone and alphorn has also won numerous prizes on "Jugend musiziert", operated for years as a choirmaster and also worked with various church choirs?

These are the exact types of boys who are drawn to the untamed and juicy techno beats that can push a sound system to it's limits. This is also what our Roland decided to do. He has been schooling his ear for techno since he is thirteen years old and became to be a enthusiastic supporter of the Detroit school from an early age. He started to worship artists such as Charles Siegling, Jeff Mills, Petar Dundov and Secret Cinema. Very soon, he came to own analogue synthesisers and music software and tried himself as a producer. So far so good.

But in order to be a good techno producer, one needs a good label and a good mentor. After a confirming nod from Riley, his first release happened in February 2008 on Trapez ltd. Since then Roland has proven himself as a distinctive composer that produces with analogue instruments and rarely employs the usage of various music programmes. His method of producing has proven it's worth at the latest since the big successes of remixes from Minilogue's "Space", Lucio Aquilinas "Disco Bus" or Extrawelt's "Im Garten von Eben".

Roland's music is rhythm on a high level. He does not want to function as a ambassador and thus convey a message. For him, techno is functional. He is fascinated when the crowd can delve into the atmosphere of his music and this can be anything - from the highly ordered structures of total minimalism right up to the wild sample and effect chaos of general bass type sequential harmonies and total atonality. He enjoys the freedom of being able to move within this musical freedom.
