Despite having deep roots within the club scene as a acclaimed producer, remixer and busy DJ, Kasper Bjørke has in the past years been focusing his own album productions on song oriented compositions, suitable for home listening rather than the dancefloor. The DJs and ravers have been kept busy with remixes of his original versions - but for this new release, Kasper turns his own full attention to the business of making people move.

‘Fountain of Youth’ is a mini-LP drawing on Kaspers 15 years immersed in club culture and inspired by some of the genres he plays in his own DJ sets around the world; house, classic electro, post disco and techno. It’s exceptionally executed, a masterclass in exquisite sound and production - and a innate knowledge of dancefloor dynamics. 

‘Dawn’, works as an outro on the mini-LP; a beatless, ambient saxophone infused affair - that may or may not indicate what you can expect from the next Kasper Bjørke full length... Who can tell...

The crack was fierce and abrupt. The windshield smashed furiously before his eyes as the metallic framework of the car in front careered off course and into his line of vision. Glass breaks glass, metal breaks glass, people break glass. Inside the car there was a state of panic and shellshock, it fell across the faces of each passenger as they realised what had happened and the state in which they were now in. Life would never be the same again and in all honesty, there might never be a way out. As the road stood to a halt people began to stop and stare. 

TWINS is an artist we have been fond of at Ransom Note for some time now, he is set to release a new album on Mike Simonetti's 2MR record label. He delivers an intriguing assortment of noise, rugged excursions and weirdo electronics just the way we like.

All track titles pay tribute to the camps and crews, where F.I.E.L.D.Y had the pleasure to play: slow and deep driving minimal techno at the Tree Of Life, immersive tribalistic atmospheres at The Dragon, a hypnotic and trippy interpretation of the Play at the Haupbahnhof by Wanderzrikus feat. vocals by Mo Libretto. Last but not least the title track get's pimped up by a melodic remix by 959er. 
Desert tech at it's best!

@submarinevibes is ending the summer season with a release that brings warm melodies and beautiful memories of time past. Camper Blues is a brand new EP by @savaggiomusic, the dynamic duo from Vancouver and Berlin.

The release contains three songs, with the titular song being realized as a collaboration with Felix Weltfremd. Besides three original tracks, the release also holds two remixes; The Ulysses Valentine was remixed by Germans @959er and @f_i_e_l_d_y_music, who transformed the original track into a darker but nonetheless beautiful musical experience.

The remix of Cerulean was done by the Canadian producer @jaredlovemusic, who has garnered much attention with his appearance on the Visceral compilation, but also labels like Dialtone Records, Dilate Records, and Rainforest Music.

With the main track of the EP Soble makes you dive deep into the nature of his hypnotic soundbank. The journey between the mountains towards the Orient is pervaded by mystical flute playing and driving Percs. It leads you past villages where organic plucked instruments can be heard coming out of the mud huts. Synthetic toppings bring the whole build-up to the peak. A feast for the ears that makes the long journey truly indispensable.
The Forest tells the story of the woods behind the mountains. Rousing shakers set the beat and won't let you go. Soble has put these gentle but not to be overheard vocals in this EP, together with the ensemble of organic-syntetic melodies they give the piece the drive it needs.
959’s remix of The Forest brings the vocals to the fore and adds a good deal of synthetic material. Crunchy driving percussions form the framework of the track. Suddenly a deep bass sounds in the bridge and shakes the path, formed from the well-known melodies of the original. The very model of a remix.
Samaha tightens the screws a little more with his version of the forest. A icing on the cake which gives the EP the final touch. From the start to finish, Samaha made sure you don‘t miss out on anything here. In this interpretation nothing is missing, close to the original and yet another world. Driving, captivating and harmonious at the same time.
