with that project both would like to bring the organic & mythological sound of the elders and northern ancestors to the downtempo-scene. Ihwa or Eihwaz is the thirteen rune of the older Futhark - Futhark is the oldest rune series, which is rooted in historical tradition. Eihwaz stands in mythology for the tribe of the world tree Yggdrasil, which connects heaven, earth and underworld. It is the gateway to the worlds outside Midgard. EIHWAZ also stands for self-defense, victory, competence and foresight.

Another spring has sprung and maybe also because it is much different than all the springs we sprang before, there's a sense of newness in the air.

Being nestled inside for so long, we ended up doing what we do best anyway: whipping up a nice warm release cake for our little sweet beaks out there.
Now that everyone has the time, kick back in your favourite sweatpants, enjoy a nice beverage and get sucked into a weird, cinematic dream created fully inside your ears, courtesy of our hombre from across the great blue puddle: jiony.

It must either be the Mexican sun, or they put something in his enchiladas as a child, but jiony's past years have been highly productive, to say the least. We've been eyeing (or earing?) him for quite a while now and it finally lead to his and our newest baby "Sí Y No".
Yes and No, an ambivalence that, in a way, reflects a state of mind that many of us know just too well in these times.

Here's to keeping up the spirits and delivering a little relief for your minds!

Since we all coexist on this planet — some closer to, some farther away from each other — we know how you have been feeling this past year.
Mood swings happen on a daily basis. Uncertainty is sitting deeply in all of us. What is happening? Where will this lead? Is there an end in sight?

We're no psychics either, but in times like these something everyone should do is to keep the spirits up for themselves and those around them.
And so we set out and forged something, that's rather different from our usual output, but yet wholesome and our equivalent of a bag of warm and loving hugs. Without the fear of getting infected with some kind of virus of course.

A new story in our ever growing book of slowness is coming to fruition and now is the time to present its first chapter.
