Drowsy Maggie - flashy sounds, big beats und originelle Arrangements traditionellen Materials!

Drowsy Maggie beginnt beim ureigenen Klang der traditionellen irischen Spielweise, das sind Tunes von Fiddle und Akkordeon. Doch Sounds und Beats der Popkultur führen die alte Musik in neue Sphären: Die Gitarre liefert energiegeladenes Backing. Elektronische Klangeffekte eröffnen überraschende musikalische Assoziationen. Drums greifen die traditionellen Rhythmen in ihren kraftvollen Grooves auf!
Drowsy Maggie zelebriert den Moment in der Musik, auf den Bühnen und mit dem Publikum. Das sind große Songs und Tanzfieber. Ihre zwei Alben sind von diesem Konzerterlebnis inspiriert und größtenteils in Live-Sessions aufgenommen: "Nú Trad" (2017) und "In Your High Honour" (2020).
