Different Shoes is a retrospective collection of my early work as an artist—from the 1970’s, 80’s and 90’s. The songs were performed in Edmonton, Vancouver and Toronto with various bands that I had the pleasure to work with...Dr. Oxide

Back in the day ...late 70's...we played The Clearwater Hotel for a six nighter...The bartender had a mirror in the beer cooler...We partied hard ...ate smorgasbord...and hung out the windows on the end of bedsheets...we got fired but had a good time. A portrait of one of the West’s last infamous outlaws— the gentleman bandit who coined the phrase “Hands-up!” Bill Miner worked both sides of the border. In Canada he gained notoriety for “the first train robbery in Canadian history”.  This version recorded with members of the Mars Crossing Band.

Written in collaboration with life long friend and musician Linz Kenyon in the days of The Mars Crossing Band.  Back in the day ...late 70's...we played The Clearwater Hotel for a six nighter...The bartender had a mirror in the beer cooler...We partied hard ...ate smorgasbord...and hung out the windows on the end of bedsheets...we got fired but had a good time.  This version was recorded  in 1980 at Homestead Studios in Edmonton, Alberta.
