We are back with another round of our Monthly Mix Series! For our March mix we turned to Denver's own vinyl DJ and selector Derek Russo. He came through with an hour of spaced out funk, house and club cuts expertly blended just in time for the weekend. Denver is growing up fast. It seems like every day there is a new building on the horizon and an extra minute of traffic on the roads. With this growth comes new faces and ideas. One of these new faces is Mansour Al-Amin, aka Manny 'Nuff, a skilled and soulful selector who recently relocated here from the Windy City. It's  clear in listening to this mix that he has not forgotten his roots. A meditative blend of spacey house and acid-laced club tracks is on display here - turn it up and enjoy!

For our May mix, we invited Denver-based vinyl DJ and selector Laru to take us on a journey through the hidden worlds of left-field techno and house. Inspired by his time spent living in Berlin, Laru offers up some psychedelic experimental gems alongside bouncy, soulful dance floor jams in a seamless blend of vibes and styles. In his own words, this all vinyl mix includes “some of the more out there records I never get to play at clubs, and a couple of my all time favorite tracks I own on wax.”

For the December edition of our Mix Series, we turn to a veritable veteran of Denver’s underground electronic scene - Ryan Scannura. As a founding member of the Deep Club crew, Scannura’s roots are interwoven with the rise of house and techno as a popular genre in Denver. This all-vinyl mix provides a glimpse into the versatility and range that Scannura displays behind the decks, conjuring sounds from house, techno and left field club music with a playful ease. If you like what you hear, be sure to hit up Fort Greene this Sunday, December 16th for "Laundry, Part 2" with Chicago-based heavy hitter Sold.
