Love the vocals...and great, no rapper attack.

In the 1990s, when young singing groups roamed the earth, multi-platinum
artists Dru Hill was one of the finest bands on the planet. Called “today’s 
most dynamic male R&B group,” by Vibe magazine, Dru Hill is a 
self-contained crew whose hits include “Tell Me,” “In My Bed,” 
“We’re Not Making Love,” “How Deep is Your Love” and “Beauty.”  

Yet, while the group topped the charts from 1996 to 2003 with their Dru Hill 
(1996), Enter the Dru (1998) and Dru World Order (2002), it has been seven 
years since Dru Hill has collectively created any new music. 
InDRUpendence Day, the group’s fourth disc, marks the return of the group, 
while also welcoming new member Antwuan "Tao" Simpson who has replaced Woody.

While the title InDRUpendence Day represents a declaration of Dru Hill’s independence from a major label machinery, the fellows are excited about 
signing with Kedar Entertainment Group, home of R&B luminaries JOE, 
Keith Sweat, Chico DeBarge and Lylit.  “Things change, people change, but getting back with my brothers could only be a good thing,” declares 
Sisqo. “Our sound has evolved; we’re hitting notes like we never could 
before.”  Noted singles includes; “Love MD”, “Back To The Future,” 
“State of Emergency” and “Remain Silent” just to name a few. 

With the InDRUpendence Day, Dru Hill has given their fans a precise, 
focused collection of songs that reinforces the fact that R&B groups in the 
tradition of the Temptations, the Detroit Emeralds and the Stylistics still 
exist. Entertaining, smart and soulfully fun.
