This week on Topshelf we are honured to have with us German DJ/Producer and Indie Dance mix series head, Kurt Kjergaard.

A master of his craft with 3 decades of DJ'ing experience under his belt having played clubs all over Germany, Kurt Kjergaard has built up an extremely impressive, incredibly versatile collection of music over the years, allowing him to deliver gold standards sets in everything from Italo to Deep house, Dark Disco to Techno. 
Kurt Kjergaard's undeniable love of dance music drew him to promote to the masses with a multitude of mix series, including 'Outside The Box', 'KK Presents' and his dark disco filled 'Indie Dance' series which has hosted the likes of Bonnie Spacey, Franz Matthews, Parissior and Zaratustra since its inception 7 months ago.
With new music alongside our Friend Kay-Chi due later this year we're sure this pro is in for another successful year, bringing more great artists to a larger audience as well as further showcasing his talents behind the decks. With a brilliant mix for us showcasing his dark disco chops, we couldnt be happier to bring you Topshelf 0104 with Kurt Kjergaard, enjoy.

BIOGRAPHY

Born in the northern part of Bulgaria and raised there, Selderv (Seldjan
Dervish) is one of the most promising and fastest rising exports of the
Bulgarian electronic music scene. 

The Copenhagen-based DJ and producer discovered the electronic music in 2010 at the early age of 13. In the beginning his hunger to consume quality electronic music made him dig in different genres, until he got fascinated and inspired by his electronic music hero KiNK which made him undertake his first steps in producing music and DJ-ing. 

Throughout the last years Selderv has been patiently working on crafting his sound while releasing on labels such as BeatFreak and Suprematic. His major breakthrough started in 2022 with terrific releases for My Choice Recordings, Glory Hill Studio and by joining the Urge To Dance label family with his Talk To Me EP. 

He has become a regular name on the Copenhagen electronic music scene and is now part of CPH Deep. As he is having a year on fire, there are multiple upcoming huge releases to watch out for pretty soon and beyond.

Ruff is a DJ from Madrid, who began to enter the world of electronics at the age of 17. At 18 he embarked on the world of production and a little later in the world of records. He is characterized by his broken beats, synthesizers to create atmospheres, forceful percussions and a lot of rhythm. Part of the TNG's collective doing various events and hanging the sold out sign at all of them.
