So here's my techno set from the KilleKill party at Suicide Circus, Berlin. I played 12-3am and as the club opened at 12 i got to warm up for myself which was fun as i don't often get to play some of these records.. Big thanks to Mark Hawkins for the recording.
All tracks are on vinyl and i'll try to put together a tracklist when i have time, but feel free to ask for IDs and as always all comments are appreciated.
 This was the release party for the Killekill 007 EP by Bill Youngman (who can be heard at the close of the set)

Suicide Circus Podcast 44 : CARI LEKEBUSCH

Cari Lekebusch, der an Silvester im Suicide Circus zu hören sein wird, freut sich schon hemmungslos aufs gemeinsame Feiern, was er in der Opening-Message des 44ten SC-Podcasts auch humorvoll rüberbringt. 

Was danach kommt, ist allerdings noch besser: Ungezügelte Energie, die in schönen Wellenformen immer weiter nach vorne treibt, und deren gnadenlos gute Zusammenstellung unzweifelhaft unter Beweis stellt, warum Cari nach wie vor einer der ganz Großen im Techno ist. 

Der „alte Schwede“, der einen direkten, schonungslosen Einstieg mit Jonas Kopps „Empty Planet“ hinlegt, mixt in zackigem Tempo feinsten Techno, bei dem jede shuffelnde Hihat sitzt und jede Bassdrum mit Nachdruck den Drive verstärkt. Hier ruled nicht dumpfe Brachialität. Gekonnt eingesetzte Filter und FX sorgen für Intelligenz und Shuffle. Finest stuff!
