I was completely honored and humbled when Alessandro Cortini of Nine Inch Nails / Blind Old Freak / Modwheel Mood / Had asked me to do a remix for hisproject SONOIO. I have been massively influenced my Alessandro work over the years especially his take on creating music with a Buchla Modular Synthesizer.
Today im sharing the remix i did and its a bit outside of the techno realm.

SONOIO - Scientist (Drumcell Remix)

I make noise and organize it in semi recognizable patterns.

Making music under my moniker SOYYO (Inspired by Alessandro Cortini’s (soundcloud.com/alessandrocortini) SONOIO project).

The idea behind Altered Fist comes from Chicago-based sega death (http://www.dramacore.com/info/40.htm) who, on their webpage, have an excellent description on what's going on; everything emanates from two Sega Genesis consoles. The real difference, for now, between us and sega death is that we use two of them.

By pulling out a cartridge without turning the console off and inserting said cartridge again, or any other cartridge, memory corruption occurs (or so we believe) and the result is new interesting noise. It can be rythmic, melodic or just distorted cacophony.
