Brothers Harvey and Ryan McKay return to Drumcode with their dynamic Alias project.

We were introduced to Alias last year when the McKay brothers dropped the impact-heavy ‘Visions’ EP mid-way through 2017. The duo followed with a lauded contribution for Drumcode Live and the buzz from fans was palpable. The follow up sees the pair in powerhouse form. 

The title track ‘NRG’ is an attitude-packed tour de force; compromised of aggressive snares, warped vocals and a tension-filled break, it has been smashed by Adam Beyer for the last six months. ‘Orange Sunshine’ pulls no punches as it dishes out apocalyptic acid paired with the sibling’s startling drum work. ‘The Event’ rounds out the EP and is an exhilarating affair propelled by uplifting synth lines and a buzzing energetic bassline.

Kevin "Dan" Zanetti nació en la Ciudad Autónoma de Buenos Aires y llevó una vida atravesada por contrastes. Ex custodio presidencial y miembro del Escuadrón Comando Chacabuco de los Granaderos del Ejército Argentino, también fue chef de parrilla en Don Julio, hoy reconocido con una estrella Michelin.

Vivió en Puerto Libertad, un pequeño pueblo de Misiones, y recorrió Paraguay y Brasil haciendo dedo, en un viaje que marcó profundamente su búsqueda de nuevas experiencias. Fue en ese trayecto donde comenzó a forjar su identidad musical y su conexión con la escena.

Actualmente es fundador de PSADILLA, una productora de eventos que apuesta por DJs emergentes, creando un espacio donde se les da visibilidad, oportunidades reales y una comunidad que impulsa sus carreras.

En definitiva, Dan es un DJ multifacético, con una historia que lo respalda para hacer —literalmente— lo que se le cante el tuje.

ORYX is a versatile DJ and producer known for delivering dynamic, genre-spanning performances and productions. With over a decade of experience, he has built a reputation for exploring the boundaries of electronic music, blending Techno, Drum and Bass, House, and Dubstep with influences from Trap, Hip-Hop, Rock, and experimental styles.

Since launching his career with the self-released single Moda in 2019, ORYX has steadily evolved, releasing standout tracks such as Midnight, Digital, X, and Gradients. In 2022, his debut album Model One showcased a bold, multi-genre approach, followed by the atmospheric and dark Spirits in 2023. This year, his sound has grown even more distinct with Drum and Bass releases like Exertion, Nightfall, and Timpani. Heading into 2025, ORYX is expanding his artistry further with projects spanning multiple genres, continuing to push creative boundaries.

ORYX’s performances are marked by dynamic mixing and striking visuals. He has played at iconic venues such as Fabric, Ministry of Sound, Dubai's Hyatt Regency Hotel, and in Athens. He has also performed alongside electronic music legend deadmau5 at Motion Bristol.

Balancing creativity and technical skill, ORYX continues to connect with diverse audiences while pushing the boundaries of electronic music.
