Systematic are gearing up to release the 100th EP on the label and who better to take the reigns than Romboy and Bodzin. We have the premiere of the title track and 'Kerberos' is exactly what you'd expect from the titans of techno.

'Kerberos' is a hypnotic and driving cut, one that progresses and builds with precision and underlying menace. Its melodies intertwine from the first beat and it couldn't sum up the Systematic ethos better.

First released digitally in 2012, then on vinyl in 2013, Compuphonic feat. Marques Toliver's 'Sunset' has proved an enduring hit with house lovers around the world. As such, the new year will see it get further release, this time with brilliant remixes from
Andre Lodemann & Fabian Dikof, Noema and Tim Engelhardt. 

The original is a still fresh tune with pained male vocals layered over deep, heartbroken house beats. Neon chords flesh things out and the whole thing drips with a sombre sense of romanticism. 

Esteemed deep house man Andre Lodemann & Fabian Dikof remix first and extend it into an eight-minute melodic masterpiece scattered with harmonics. lt has a sense of drive to it that lifts you higher and makes it into a truly epic and steamy track. 

Poker Fiat artist Tim Engelhardt serves up two remixes. The first is a cosmic affair with arpeggiated synths rippling oft into the skies as the rooted drums pop down low. The vocals feel even more heavenly in this version, while his second remix is more stripped back. Claps get your hips swinging and daubs of synth bring a playful feel to the still emotive track. 

Lastly, Berlin based Noema goes deep with a shimmering mix that is layered up with xylophones, chords and wooden hits. lt's a sensuous cut that will infuse any set with real heartwarming grooves. 

This is a carefully compiled package of remixes that add vital new spins to the still essential original.

Producer DJ Mind-X formerly released the record under Energetic Records, a trance specialist label based in Switzerland. This fresh version sees the tempo slowed down, still preserving the track’s 90s trance qualities with its sultry looped spoken vocals and hypnotic melody. Miami house producer Jesse Perez works his magic on the track with a bouncy body-jerking beat typical of his signature bass-heavy sound. This revamp presents a trance-infused track with a lot of mesmerising groove that might just get you talking to aliens…

Active Child's tune 'Johnny Belinda' gets the remix treatment from Dutch electronic music legend Matthew Dekay The producer has been responsible for one of Innervisions' biggest hits, 'Lost In A Moment', and also produced the groundbreaking EP 'Amity' including the summer hit 'Fangtango' on Maeve. With his remix for Active Child's track 'Johnny Belinda' Dekay once again proves his ability to turn an original track into his own piece of work. Melodic melancholic synth chords shape the body of MDK's remix approach and are set with a reserved bass line that fully unfolds its punch as the remix proceeds. But it certainly is the vocal that puts its mark on the track and Dekay manages to make the interaction between the vocals and soundscapes sound so easy.

The seventh volume of Drumcode’s annual A-Sides compilation hits with no less than 10 debuts for the label, with Charlotte de Witte, ANNA, B.Traits and Scuba’s SCB project, among the collection of topline artists to release their maiden productions on the imprint. 

Over two decades into its lifespan, Drumcode keeps evolving and excelling, pushing techno forward while remaining wholly respectful of its roots. This reputation for progression was further fueled this summer with its inaugural festival at the NDSM Docklands in Amsterdam, featuring a long list of heavyweights including Nicole Moudaber, Joseph Capriati, Amelie Lens and Ida Engberg, among others. 

As ever, the A-Sides compilation provides a timely opportunity to showcase the full range of its sonic repertoire, with Adam Beyer scrupulously selecting 22 unreleased tracks that have taken prime position in his sets over recent months. 

Outstanding all-round talent ANNA kicks off the compilation with ‘Portable Paradise’, a pulsating cut that sets the tone for the top-shelf club cuts to follow. Also entering the debut field with their first ever Drumcode dalliances are B.Traits and Charlotte de Witte. The esteemed Canadian selector offers up ‘I Feel The Music’, a euphonic track that’s been sought after since spring, and the Belgian ballista unlocks a thick-edged club bomb in ‘Remember.’

Leaders of Drumcode’s new brigade, exciting Brazilian Wehbba and British techno alchemist Boxia set out to impress. Wehbba’s straight-talking ‘Just’ hits with an immediate sense of urgency before neck-snap claps strike with force, and Boxia’s ‘Final Call’ elicits physical engagement with mellifluous vocals and soaring pads. 

Continuously looking to bolster the profiles of emerging talent, Berlin-based producers Weska and Juliet Fox are brought into the fold with equally engaging razor-sharp tracks that are primed to do lasting damage. 

Other notable highlights include an exhilarating workout from Reset Robot - the most released artist on Beyer’s imprint Truesoul – as he lands on Drumcode for the first time. And tastemaker’s favourite Jel Ford makes a welcome return as he ushers in techno rhythms with bustling breaks in ‘Nightshade.’

Elsewhere, support from label mainstays comes in from Bart Skils, who offers a work of consummate skill in ‘West Of The Moon.’ Alan Fitzpatrick, who’s been heavily featured across the A-Side series, joins forces with Scuba as he operates as his uncompromising alias SCB. The result is a propulsive floor-gripper that testifies to their masterful deftness as co-producers. Formidable duos Dense & Pika and Pig&Dan also contribute with powerful compositions.
