Drumcode releases ‘Elevate’ a 10-track compilation showcasing cuts from a fresh array of label family and friends, including BEC, Juliet Fox and rising talent Chelina Manuhutu, Tini Gessler and DJ Dee. The project is also testament to techno’s global appeal with artists coming from Japan, China and Australia, as well as across the UK and Europe.

Always with an eye on the future, Drumcode introduces the next wave of talent set to make their mark on the label and across showcases throughout 2023 and beyond. ‘Elevate’ sees a total of seven artists make their Drumcode debut in an exciting sign of the times.

Josh Coakley, one of Ireland’s brightest techno hopes, delivers a brimming four track release to Dense & Pika’s Kneaded Pains label with the ‘313’ EP.

Having already fired out indispensable releases via Marco Faraone’s UNCAGE, Choki Biki Records and Sleazy Deep, Coakley whips up four bangers for dark and sweaty basements of discerning dancefloors.

Rattling 909 drums, pacey tempos and rave tinged elements populate each track here, with Coakley keeping his techno style upbeat and engaging at every turn.

The 150 release on Markantonios AnalyticTrail marks a special return of belgiums Duo and brothers Filterheads to the imprint with three trackers EP called Radiance.

Filterheads already released on the label two EPs, their first one was a collaboration with Gaston Zani under the name Subconscious back in 2018. The second one was collaboration with Lowerzone under the name Hard Wax back in 2020. For almost two decades now, Filterheads have also releases on the likes of Toolroom, POPOFs Form, UMEKs 1605, Unrilis, Carl Coxs Intec and Unity Records among others.

Radiance opens the EP with a hard hitting beats, splashing percussions. Mechanics comes second on the list and gives more aggressiveness to the selection. Retrospective closes the EP with a dark and euphoric break followed by a big bass and pounding kick.
