I am excited to present you my new ep „Hidden Love“. A 3 tracks EP on which I express my different moods of techno. "Hidden Love" kicks the ep off with a warm acid groove, deep strings and trippy vocal snippets. Equally deep and dancefloor friendly, a groover for the soulful moments of the dancefloor. 
„Latex“ preents a trippy and monotone drumming sequence which is screwing into your brain with a big climax.
Finally „Blue Elephant“ is combining a dark atmosphere with an uplifting dreamful break.

The first release on Reinier Zonneveld’s own imprint, Filth on Acid, launches a special EP-series, Cocktails Mix series, whereby Reinier Zonneveld collaborates with artists that influence him, both creatively and personally.

Cocktails Mix I brings 4 different variations of tech to the floor. First up is Cold Conquest, featuring Stil vor Talent's head honcho Oliver Koletzki, together they deliver a peak-time track with lots of emotional and musical elements, while keeping a steady heavy rhythm section.

Adding Gem’s labelhead Secret Cinema to the cocktail gives us a purist no nonsense techno banger perfect for dark rooms and dirty basements. 

For the third track on the EP, we see Reinier Zonneveld combined with Gabriel Ananda, showing their emotional and deep signature sound coming to the forefront, with mesmerizing melodies and brilliant synthwork. Perfect for a night closer or sunny open air.

Finally the EP closes of with Matt Sassari and Reinier going all out with an extreme energetic bomb, featuring a machine gun like synth bass.

Back for his 3rd EP on Filth On Acid, it's the master of brainmelters with pumping beats, Ilija Djokovic, who serves up four more fantastic cuts. We challenge you to play these 4 rocks on a big rig before a massive crowd and not see the concept of gravity being questioned.

Atom kicks off with big techno drums and tense synths layering up into an intense groove. It’s scintillating stuff that takes you to the edge of the cosmos. Gravity is a deeper, more heady track with menacing bass and shooting lasers. Nebula then sucks you into a spooky sound world, with hard drums and cinematic synths adding up to an evocative journey. Last of all, 1991 is more tripped out, with beautiful melodies circling above the soft drums, which makes it feel like you are adrift in space. 

These are four more superbly dramatic techno cuts from one of the best in the game.

After repeated chart topping efforts on Kraftek, UK duo Spektre return with the darkly seductive vocals of Berliner Juliet Fox. The rhythmic undulations of the groove create the perfect platform upon which Fox's vocals crawl on hands and knees, beckoning the listener deeper into the sonic landscape like some siren of techno mythology, but it's once the listener is fully entranced by her mantric incantation, "I'm Thinking About You....and the things you do to me...." that the Spektre boys unveil the final piece of this modern masterpiece: the hook. Two contrasting remixes of ‘Space Date’ come courtesy of Pleasurekraft and John Monkman, as the three-way collaboration between Adam Beyer, Layton Giordani and Green Velvet continues to thrill. Joining the strong reworks is an unexpected treat for fans; a last-minute inclusion of a fresh new original track from the trio.

Drumcode got its first taste of Pleasurekraft’s unique production touch in 2016 when ‘Dopefield’ dropped on ‘A-Sides Vol.5’. The Swedish/American duo’s exploration of cosmic techno realms made them the ideal candidates to re-work ‘Space Date’. Their contribution is as visceral as they come; defined by a hypnotic vocal arrangement, a stirring call and response melody and propulsive galloping beats fashioned for peak-time moments. No surprise it was a highlight of Adam Beyer’s Ultra Resistance sets and gobsmacked Maceo Plex who requested a promo to play at Time Warp a week later.

Meanwhile Drumcode debutant John Monkman steps up with a very different, but not less deadly reinterpretation of ‘Space Date’. The Brit has impressed in recent times with strong releases on Ellum, Kompakt and his own Beesemyer imprint, and takes this form into DC207. His is a twisted intergalactic re-rub drenched in warped electro, blistering modular sounds and touches of IDM that manages the difficult task of taking the original to darker, more leftfield realms without ever losing its powerful dancefloor pulse.

A testament to the growth of Adam Beyer’s scene-leading label, Drumcode annual A-Sides Vol.8 is the brand’s biggest yet.

The 25-track strong compilation features standout cuts Beyer has received over the last 12 months, but been unable to find room for in Drumcode’s regular release schedule, such is the volume and high standard of music that’s submitted.

The highlight-rich compilation includes Jamie Jones & Darius Syrossian’s buzzy Drumcode debut ‘Eyes of the Night’, Nicole Moudaber’s first DC release in 5 years with the mesmerizing ‘This Is Us’, Will Clarke’s bass-drenched re-work of Adam Beyer & Bart Skils ‘Your Mind’ and Joey Beltram’s first Drumcode release in 11 years with the retro-tinged ‘Can You Feel It’. 

The beloved Alan Fitzpatrick returns to the fold with the searing ‘Heiße Rakete’, alongside label mainstays Layton Giordani, who drops the stirring chord-driven ‘Chrome’ and Wehbba with ‘Mantra’, combining techno classicism with future-focused groove.

There’s a troupe of debutants donning the Drumcode jersey for the first time, including BEC, Shelley Johannson, Anthony Castaldo, Avision, Zimmz, Woo York, SAMA (in a terrific collaboration with Secret Cinema) and Ilija Djokovic, who delivers a shimmering highlight with ‘Aura’, a particular favourite of Beyer’s over the last year. Raxon also debuts on the label after a couple of quality additions to the Truesoul back catalogue.

Exciting young guns Weska and Juliet Fox bring heat to the compilation, while Veerus and Timmo follow up strong DC releases with a repeat dose. Elsewhere faithful contributors Ramon Tapia, Jay Lumen, Luca Agnelli, Marco Bailey and Mark Reeve craft powerful dancefloor weapons.

Hot off the back of a contribution to A-Sides Vol.9, Victor Ruiz returns for his second EP on Drumcode.

The Brazilian artist has been an industrious contributor to DC over the past 12 months, beginning with his excellent debut EP ‘Nimbus’ last May. Since then, he’s played Drumcode Festival, was part of the iconic Warehouse Project party in November and also featured in the first Drumcode Indoors session in March. His production prowess will be fresh in the minds of DC faithful after ‘Intuit’, his collaboration with Thomas Schumacher, was a standout of the recent A-Sides Vol.9 compilation.

The ‘Freedom’ EP is Ruiz’s next offering and emblematic of the creative breakthrough he experienced while crafting the four-track work. The title track is led by hypnotic rhythms and deep bass stabs before a vox enters the fore and builds to a delicious climax. ‘Illusions’ is a pulsating bassline-led groover that builds alongside mystical vocal effects. ‘Senses’ exudes an understated touch of Detroit soul and is a handy DJ tool for varying occasions. ‘Existence’ is a searing late-night techno affair, as layers of melody and swelling pads conjure a thrilling laser-kissed atmosphere.
