<p>Its been a hectic summer as always for MOOD boss Nicole Moudaber. Her relentless touring schedule has seen her ruling the dancefloors of every continent. On the release front she&#8217;s fresh from unveiling her astonishing rework of Carl Cox&#8217;s Kommen Zusammen, which has proved to be a festival favourite throughout the summer season. For her new release she returns home, for the first time since April&#8217;s See You Next Tuesday ep, with the devilishly groovy The Whippin&#8217; I&#8217;m Dishin&#8217;. </p>

<p>Nicole&#8217;s original sees her take a step back from the full throttle techno-tilt, creating a relaxed-yet-locked groove that swings throughout whilst kicking up a gear in its final third. Ramping things up in style is Gary Beck, who pairs the the primitive rolls of the bongo&#8217;s against a relentless and industrial soundtrack before tech-maestro Robert Dietz takes over to inject a little more bass-weight groove, expanding the kick drum and dancing on the Hi-Hats.</p>

Featuring heavily on most of Drumcode’s shows due to his impeccable DJ’ing, Bart Skils is back with a new EP flexing his signature rolling sound and hooks. Caressing from one track to another, the use of pads in this EP and using uneasy sounds to build tension in each track. The swelling bass within each track manoeuvres the tracks into dark after hour’s territory with the help of the subtle percussion.

Alan Fitzpatrick makes a triumphant return to the scene-leading imprint this August. The typically bombastic three-tracker of explosive, crowd-moving techno opens with ‘Love Siren’ packed with all the power and punch required to knock over festival crowds as it systematically builds and drops, this is one for the big open air stages. ‘U Said U’ is a massively hyped track that has been the subject of huge fan-demand since it first featured on Beyer’s Drumcode Radio in January. ‘Rumours’ wraps things up in slightly more understated but non-the-less effective fashion with its drawn out, tension building intro mushrooming into a crescendo of sleazy chords and sparking melodies.

It is with a feverish excitement that we can finally announce the next EP in our catalog from our newest addition to the Second State family: Amelie Lens. Besides being quite a multi-talented virtuoso, the Belgian artist comes in hot and heavy for her debut release ‘Let It Go’ and with it showcases her prowess for dark, cutting-edge techno. Over the span of four tracks Lens takes us on a tour-de-force journey into the cerebral spaces of large, dark rooms and flashing strobe lights. Kicking things off is the hypnotically inducing 'Wild' with looping vocals laid over an ever increasing pressure of percussion and white noise. Much like the EP opener, 'Linger On' casts the same spell yet picks up the pace with racing snares and meteoric synth washes creating a deeply euphoric ride. The title track ’Let It Go' is up next and is by far the most 'cheeky' tune of the EP with a twisted acid line swirling around the constant begging of Lens’ voice encouraging you to "Let It Go, Let It Out". Rounding out the EP is 'The Finest Hour' and Lens wraps up her debut with the most psychedelic cut of the package. Low rumbling bass tones and spaced out pads over sparse drums leave lots of room for the imagination providing each listener to create their own journey to navigate. If this is Amelie Lens' debut with us, we expect a lot of very big things to come from the young Belgian and so should you. Welcome Amelie Lens!

Making his debut on Drumcode in 2017 with his track ‘Fake’ featured on the A-Sides Vol 6 compilation, one of Brazil’s much loved exports Wehbba brings us his first full EP this February with ‘Eclipse’.

A no nonsense 4 track offering, and all thoroughly road tested by Adam, they have gained much support from longtime Drumcode fans. Eclipse, delivers a low end rumble along with a modulating synth line. Reigning high throughout the track, is the undeniably catchy and unique synth. Leaving this track one to be recognised on dancefloors all over the world.

‘Protocol’ doesn't turn down the pace, straight into a chugging hypnotic drive, this track leaks with attitude, along it’s eerie undertones.

Probably the most acid influenced track of the EP, ‘Glasswerk’ has a futuristic modular synth riff which thunders along a hypnotic bass line which flows nicely into ‘Framework’ to close out the EP. Its punchy and powerful kick sits alongside the cleverly crafted synth pattern, taking this track into a dark zone with a groovy element still resonant.
