This set was recorded on my first trip to South Africa, where I performed at a festival and a free show in Soweto alongside local artists Vinny da Vinci , Dj Fresh, Euphonik, Culoe de Song and LSG. All tour dates were partnered with non-profit organisation Bridges for Music. The aim was to use music to break down socio-economic boundaries bringing people from different communities together . Stacey Pullen followed closely in the footsteps of the 'Belleville Three' AKA Juan Atkins, Derrick May & Kevin Saunderson.  Forging close ties with the originators, Stacey released on May's Fragile label back in 1992, and has since gone on to record many pivotal releases on labels like R&S, Plink Plonk, Balance, Saved and our own Cadenza Records.  Stacey still does the business behind the turntables always, so if ever you get the opportunity, catch the master, you won't be disappointed!
