DJ Morgrey, also known as Carl Weber, discovered the rave scene in the late 1990s and was instantly captivated by the music and the strong sense of community. This deep connection inspired him to buy his first turntables shortly after and dive headfirst into the art of DJing.

 
From that moment on, he spent every spare minute honing his mixing skills and developing his own sound. In 2002, he played his first gig at Watergate – a unique event held on a boat during the iconic Street Parade. More performances followed, including sets at D-Light and various other clubs.

 
Life eventually shifted his focus. For family reasons, Carl stepped back from the scene, sold all his equipment, and fully dedicated himself to raising his child. But the music never left him.

 
In 2017, he made a comeback – purchasing new gear, this time to introduce DJing to his son. What began as a bonding experience soon reignited his own creative fire and marked the true restart of his DJ career.

 
By 2025, DJ Morgrey relocated to the Bernese Oberland, where he quickly became part of the local electronic music scene, forging new connections and performing in clubs like Colors, Budeli, and Cardasia. And this is just the beginning.

 
With renewed energy, experience, and passion, DJ Morgrey is ready for the next chapter. The journey continues – with many more performances ahead in Switzerland and across borders.

I started my DJ career in 1995 with House music, and over the years, my journey evolved into minimal tech, deep tech, tech house, and progressive house. In 2015, I dove into music production, and today, I bring my sound to life with live performances using synthesizers. My sets are all about creating an immersive experience—blending deep basslines, atmospheric melodies, and a driving rhythm to connect with the crowd. Music is more than just a passion for me; it’s a language, a lifestyle, and a way to share energy with the world.
