2016 war das Jahr wo sich sein Interesse fürs auflegen explosionsartig entfaltete und er fühlte das diese Momente hinter dem Mixer, die Tanzfläche mit ihren in die Musik eingetauchten Personen im Blick, den Bass drückend im Bauch und die zuckenden Lichter blitzend quer über jeden Körper genau diese sind, die in ihm diese unbeschreiblichen Gefühle erwecken, die es wohl nur so in der elektronischen Musikszene, die es wohl nur im Techno gibt.
In den Momenten wenn er die Fader an den Fingerspitzen spürt und er mit seiner speziellen Trackauswahl das Publikum packt, es führt und erst wieder los lässt wenn der letzte Track ausgelaufen ist, wird ihm immer wieder aufs neue klar, das er seinen Weg gefunden hat, den Weg des DJ´s.
So wie sich alles entwickeln tut, entwickelte sich auch sein Sound und seine Art aufzulegen. Zu Anfang war er noch mehr den melodischen Techno verfallen aber im laufe der Jahre ist es besonders der schnellere und härtere Sound der ihn antreibt. Hier und da gespickt mit melodischen Rhythmen und öfters auch Genre übergreifend baut er seine herausstechenden  Sets zusammen und ist seit 2019 auch als Produzent fleißig am arbeiten.
So ist es nicht verwunderlich das er schon in einigen der beliebtesten Clubs quer durch Deutschland gespielt hat wie z.B. Ritter Butzke (Berlin), Odonien (Köln) oder dem Zwischenbau (Rostock). 
Mike Bloch steht für straighten/industrial Techno, welchen er gern u.a. mit Vocals und/oder herausstechenden Sounds kombiniert! Im Rhythmus der Nacht von 128bpm hinauf bis auf 142bpm...

Das Techno Projekt "konTAKT" wurde im August 2017 gestartet und hat sich seitdem durch die erfolgreiche Podcast Serie, einen positiven Namen bei den Hörern wie auch bei den diversen Artists gemacht.
konTAKT steht für Techno in all seinen Variationen. Vom melodischen bis hin zum Dark Techno, ist für jeden Geschmack immer was dabei.
In den letzten Monaten drurften wir uns auch über exclusive Technoset´s von bekannteren Artist´s aus unserer Szene freuen. 
Namen wie Drumcomplex, Dandi & Ugo, DJ YENI, deKai, Holger Nielson, Dario Sorano oder SKOBER haben sich via Podcast bei uns präsentiert.
Neben dem Podcast haben wir nun auch unsere eigene Event Reihe ins Rollen gebracht und werden in Zukunft unter "konTAKT RuhrArea" weitere Events und Projekte planen und veranstalten.

The techno project "konTAKT" was launched in August 2017 and has since made a positive name for the listeners as well as for the various artists due to the successful podcast series.
konTAKT stands for techno in all its variations. From melodic to dark techno, there is always something for every taste.
In the last few months we were also thrown over exclusive techno sets by more well-known artists from our scene.
Names like Drumcomplex, Dandi & Ugo, DJ YENI, deKai, Holger Nielson, Dario Sorano or SKOBER presented themselves via podcast.
In addition to the podcast, we have now started our own event series and will be planning and organizing further events and projects under "konTAKT RuhrArea" in the future.

konTAKT ist Techno
