If you're making music at this particular time in history, you have two options only: the purest, most hedonistic & escapist dance music, or the gnarliest, feistiest heavy punky spirit. This record is the latter.

Here it's done with a million layers of drums, noise, detuned guitars, distortion, melody & a certain sweetness. Some tunes are slow & heavy, a new addition, and some are lightning fast as always. Elements of many heavy genres are present, but it's diverse and free. Styles are blended together even within the same tune - from hardcore punk & neocrust, black metal & mathcore, with breakcore, drum & bass, & jungle-rooted electronic music as the unifying glue.

Artwork has been carefully selected to fit the music, a full piece of work unto itself. It's a beautiful collection of 35mm & medium format photography, sometimes glitched after the fact - electric feedback & film grain interacting or clashing, depending on your point of view - all shot from the same real life experiences which formed the music.

Can something be apocalyptic and energetic at the same time? Let's find out, for we must stay focused on the days ahead. Vibe-wise it's got a lot of the crustacean spirit, with eyes to the future. Find the good way, regardless. That's really the only option isn't it?
