LUBZ is a South African Electronic Music Producer and DJ who specialises in Producing House
Music and Hip Hop amongst several other genres. He has recorded under his DJ name as well as
under his alias EL De Mrapper, and in collaboration with several other artists.
Born in Cape Town as a DJ he has managed to set himself a firm and solid musical foundation in
Cape Towns Underground Music scene. He began compiling music at age 9 and became a DJ at
just age 15. LUBZ began his career as a DJ performing at Birthday parties and Tarvens in
Townships and other Neighbourhoods around Cape Town and by age 17 He had worked his way
up to Cape Towns Club Scene as a guest DJ at some of the City's premium Clubs. Over the years
DJ LUBZ has opened up for and performed alongside DJs such as Rocco, Black Coffee, Ralf
GUM, DJ Christos, Vinny Da Vinci, Culoe De Song, DJ Mbuso, DJ Tokzen, Fistaz Mixwell,
Revolution, DJ Tira, DJ Sbu, Cuebur, Sai & Ribatone amongst many other great South African
House Music DJs and Producers.
