Drummed Up is a community West African drumming group based in the north east of England. We’ve been playing West African rhythms since 2002 and have performed at venues across the north east. Every year we are one of the ‘Bands on the Run’ for the Great North Run, playing outside Gateshead Stadium. Drummed Up is made up of drummers who have attended Mark Barfoot’s West African drumming workshops and is led by Mark. We want to bring the rhythms we learn out to the public to make people smile and dance!

Hannabiell is a bass trombonist, African & Latin hand percussionist, composer, producer, and activist. Midnight Blue Collective is a high energy ensemble fusing together Afro-Caribbean & Latin percussion, Jazz, Afro-beat, Funk, and Reggae to create their unique sound. It has been described as "Afro-psychedelic funk". Ladies of Midnight Blue are an Afro-Latin percussion & brass duet.
