If you are searching for dark and hard music of the calibre that has been setting crowds worldwide alight, then look no further than Side E-Fect. Hailing from the UK, in particular the South West, which in itself has spawned many a DJ and producer of the the darker, harder styles, Side E-Fect's distinct sound has had a massive impact internationally.

Consisting of a fusion of hard trance, techno and hardstyle, with deep but resounding kick drums and dark gritty lead sounds, his sound is noticeable both in his DJ sets as well as his production, which takes influence from classic tracks of yesteryear fused with new production techniques. Having released a multitude of productions to date, many of which have received leading key DJ and Press support and also radio plays from Radio 1 (Kutski), Q-Dance Radio (Fausto) and others, the future is looking bright for Side E-Fect. With notable singles coming out on the ever growing K405 imprint, he is also a highly in demand remix artist. Labels such as Kiddfectious, Compulzion, Digitally Infected, Gearbox, Friction and AID also feature the Side E-Fect sound, and many productions often top the sales charts on digital download store Trackitdown.

No stranger to the DJ world, the past few years have seen Side E-Fect grace the decks at some prestigious events of his genre all over the country and abroad, with appearences at Bionic, Westfest, Slamming Vinyl, Unity,  Audio Surgery, Escape, Premonition, K405 Events, We Love Bass And Hard Effekt (Aus) to name but a few. He has also been asked to mix two compilations for K405 and has appeared on numerous compilations too.

You can expect a whole host of productions to come from Side E-Fect in the future, including a wealth of collaborations with some industry giants such as Mark EG + Chrissi, Kidd Kaos, Busho, Mike Steventon, Splinta, Xilta and many more too come, mean that this is one artist you definitely won't want to miss out on hearing!

Since 1989 I listen to Hard House and Techno. 

In the Beginning i have been influenced by Hardcore Techno to Industrial Techno. After that i listened to "Jeff Mills - Live at the liquid Room Tokyo" and realized how powerfull a DJ can create a set. Chicago and Detroit Techno nearly completely influenced my career. After that my musical roots started to expand and I decided to buy 2 Turntables and start mixing. 

1994 I participated in the German Rave and Hardtrance Scene. 1994 The Mayday Rave Olympia was one of the best Raves in Germany ever. The Technician , who had to watch the Sound in the Dortmunder Westfalenhalle, told during an interview that he had problems to switch the sound system louder than the crowd was screaming! Best Life Act has been Ilsa Gold. After the commercialization throughout Marusha's Somewhere Over the Rainbow i quit the Rave Scene. That time i visited Stammheim in Kassel preaviously called Aufschwung Ost. I was born and grew in Kassel. This Clubscene influenced and formed my musical basics. I enjoyed it to listen to DJ Markies Sets. He has even tought to catch the crowd. Powerful guy. 

Turntable Tools was founded in 1998 by myself.

It was distributed via Neuton. Then I quit the Techno Scene in order to examinate. After a "short" Break (Studies, Law Science) I now decided to relaunch my Label Turntable Tools. After the modern methods I remastered the analog Dat Sequence of the Turntable Tools 3 from 1999 with the Digital new methods.

Actually I enjoy the the rejuvination of Rave, Acid and Trance I have ben starting with back in these days.
