Something often overlooked and equally important as receiving the medicine, is the integration of it all.  There comes a point, where we must give us ourselves the proper space to USE the medicine we have been given and take action. 

My Kinda Medicine is truly integrated action.

Some of the biggest medicine to swallow in these times is Trust. That perhaps we can trust that What is meant to be shall be and that there's an order to the seeming chaos.

Collectively it feels like a time to Rally.

The world needs as much of all of our individual medicine right now as we can spread, our love, despite fear, is a remedy in itself.

My Kinda Medicine Mix

The set that was rumored to be for Tipper. In the Android Jones & team's MultiversalME Microdose VR CHIMERA art dome, right before Skysia & Orenda. I walked in with my gear, right place and right time, and landed the golden set time. 

This was definitely a peak DJ experience for me. I had just finished my ecstatic dance set at the yoga & movement stage, so I was warmed up and ready for this. I walked into the dome as they were kicking people up to prepare the space for the night, and intuitively asked if they needed a DJ that night, and was met with an enthusiastic YES WE NEED A DJ! I didn't have time to tell anyone, so I had a dome full of people either there to see Of The Trees, Tipper, or Skysia & Orenda, plus people who happened to gravitate to the dome at that time.

Drumspyder weaves a web of percussive rhythm, melody, and line. Framedrums, tambourines, and  low whistles mingle with bass beats and ethereal atmospheres, bringing the Celtic and British Islands traditional music into vital contemporary expression.

Scott Sterling has always followed the path of rhythm. Over the course of a long journey through diverse forms of drumming and dance music: avant-garde circus, slinky bellydance troupes, and acclaimed bass-music productions, the one constant has been the beat of the drum. 

Over the past several years he has specialised in the realm of framedrums and tambourines. Influenced by modern framedrum masters such as Glen Velez and David Kuckhermann, but also inspired by the rhythms of the Irish bodhran, he follows a distinctive path through the world of contemporary percussion: fusing his experience with cross-cultural framedrum techniques and Arabic rhythms with a new-found love of Celtic dance music. 

To this rhythmic foundation he adds traditional melodies (played on low whistles and various keyboards) drawn from the folk music of Ireland, Scotland, and England , as well as the rich repertoire of Medieval and Renaissance music from the British Isles. 

Out of the alchemy of rhythm, melody, and his long experience in dance music production, he has forged a unique approach to Celtic and Medieval fusion, where elements of trance, bass-heavy electronica, and ethereal atmospheres mingle into an intoxicating brew. His overall ambition is to connect traditional rhythms and melodies with the contemporary dancefloor.
