The Wild Rover is a very popular and well-travelled folk song. Many territories have laid claim to having the original version.
We learned it from The Dubliners and translated this song into Finnish in 1978 very faithfully to the original one.
In my version I sing and play banjos (Tenor and Plectrum), mandolins (Napolitan and Octave) and guitar as well as virtual (Komplete Kontrol) Uillean Pipes.
I produced this at my home with Band in a Box and Reaper.

Emma Miller is a Scottish singer-songwriter whose ethereal, soulful blend of indie-folk has captured the hearts of listeners far and wide. From self-releasing her first single Burning Out’ in 2017 which was picked up by BBC 6 Music and premiered by cult blog The 405, to being the first independent UK artist to successfully launch and sell out a 1000 piece digital music collection (Music NFT) in 2023 - Emma Miller’s career has never been conventional or mainstream.
A fan of artists such as Joni Mitchell and Kate Bush and with a first class degree in Songwriting under her belt - the Scottish songstress has been capturing fans through the compelling power of her piercing vocals and heart-wrenching songs over the last several years. Music magazine CLASH noting her as a singer-songwriter of "astute emotional resonance" and BBC 6 Music's Tom Robinson proclaiming her vocals as "rich as a Belgium truffle" Miller continues to gain industry recognition for her work.

Today, her focus is on community. She regularly shares her unreleased music with her supporters on Patreon, has independently sold out shows in Scotland, gigged across the USA and recently spent 3 weeks deep in the Tennessee countryside recording her debut album with producer Nick Bullock.
