Germany’s Koelle steps up to make his XYZ debut in alluring fashion. The classically trained musician out of Ingolstadt has made waves in recent years, with thoroughbred projects on the likes of Anjunadeep, Lane 8’s This Never Happened, and Needwant. The constant collaborator is joined by a stellar team on the Fall in Time EP, with vocalist Margret and producer Into The Ether each deeply involved throughout the release.

Koelle turns the dial as he takes the reins on a solo production. A boisterous synth steals the show, as its choppy nature and understated grit leave a searing impression. Margret returns to ask the question at the center of it all - Is it Love? Indeed it is.

We're back for November with an EP from South Africa's WAPO Jije! If you're unfamiliar with WAPO's work you can find his music released on some of the regions most prominent Deep House labels. We also just had him on remix duties this past July for DJ Christian Bs "Find My Way EP".

His new EP with us features 2 beautifully deep tracks, "How Deep Can You Go" and 'Grand Rising" that both feature lush pads, catchy melodies and those head nodding bass lines. ‚Drowning‘ comes from the talented house duo, Robosonic. The two have made a name for themselves with their heavy low ends, their irresistible groove and warm vibes; ‘Drowning’ is no exception – especially when it comes to the delicious vocal from American R&B artist, Son Little. 

With a beautifully funky feel achieved from guitar licks and pianos set against an electronic soundscape of arps and crescendos, the result is a stunning example of modern house music made to not only to make you dance, but to make you feel at the same time. 

We’ve created and prepared three mixes. The club mix is targeted toward, you guessed it, club play. Keeping the bass heavy, the rhythm strong and the dancefloor on its feet. The dub version then takes the focus from the vocal in favor of groove, with hints here and there keeping the warmth and passion alive. And of course the radio edit, ready for airplay as the summer arrives.

Following the internationally celebrated release of their debut album The Signs Within in 2017, burgeoning Japanese techno duo Drunken Kong look to kick off a brand new decade in emphatic fashion, with the release of their eagerly-anticipated sophomore long player, Where We Start.

Out now via Christian Smith's esteemed Tronic Music imprint, Where We Start marks the second full-length opus from the Tokyo-based outfit, whose impressive catalogue of unique techno productions have also been homed by the likes of Terminal M, Octopus Recordings, Stil Vor Talent and Session Womb to name a few.

Featuring a total of sixteen diverse cuts, including thirteen brand new Drunken Kong originals, two recent collaborations with Mainz-based outfit Teenage Mutants and one exclusive new collab with Tronic head honcho Christian Smith, Where We Start is Drunken Kong's most extensive body of work to date, and goes a long way in showcasing the inexhaustible creativity of one of the most prolific double acts in techno right now. Speaking about the forthcoming album release and the inspiration behind the project, Drunken Kong commented:

'Our new album, 'Where We Start' was built around an idea and inspiration that came from our new stage in life, which was parenting. Having a child, was something new to us and we wanted to create an album which directly reflected and captured various feelings and emotions we had at different moments'.

DRUNKEN KONG is the project of D. Singh and DJ Kyoko. In 2010, the two started their project when one day, they
suddenly decided to make a track together. Since then they have released two albums on Christian Smith's label Tronic, The Signs Within (2017) and Where We Start (2020) as well as numerous EPs and singles on labels such as Octopus Recordings, Stil Vor Talent and
Terminal M while they remain active with domestic labels such as Session WOMB. All 7 tracks of their EPs in early 2017 on Tronic and Terminal M have entered Beatport Top 100 Techno chart at the same time, which has made an impact on the Asian and global techno scene. 

Since then, their music has been constantly entering top charts. Their music is gaining a lot of attention/support from
international top artists and DJs such as Carl Cox, Adam Beyer, Christian Smith, Monika Kruse, Pan-Pot, Umek, Hernan Cattaneo and Deadmau5, just to name a few. Their release “Repeat” from Octopus Recordings have entered Beatport Techno Top 10, being supported and played by many artists around the globe.

DRUNKEN KONG has always been active in the Tokyo techno scene, playing regularly at major festivals such as Ultra Japan and in clubs such as WOMB, Ageha, Unit, Vent, Contact and Vision Tokyo. The two are constantly attracting new fans with their unique sound and groove. With their powerful DJ style and charisma, the two are able to constantly amuse the audience while expanding their ideas and skills to the next level.
