This is a unique, deep track with vintage synths and real oldschool scent, typical of Skober's productions, that will literally destroy the floor once played live!

To celebrate this release VOLTAGE Records is releasing 3 remix from 3 different artists, composing a diverse roster of tracks, so different among them, that could be easily played back to back! 
Spanish star Alberto Ruiz, debuts on Voltage with his remix on Skober's "I need it Raw" designating his version with his own personal rhythmical style, full of energy and driving beats. 
Voltage label boss Anna V. has created a super hot, percussive and speedy version, loaded with powerful basses, clever drones and kicks, while preserving the original scent, adding a touch of vocals, in order to create a mood riser.
Last but not least, the Spaniard Gaston Zani's edit is amazingly dark and huge, signified by a monster kick and unique atmosphere, clearly imposing his experience in making bomb tracks to destroy any floor.

We are happy to tell you that our next release will be a compilation with five tracks from excellent artists on board with the perfect name 'The Variety Of The Mind'. For this first V.A. release we could win no one less than Piemont, fran&co, Hermanez, Matchy & Bott and Andlee & Kollektiv KlangGut.
With track number one of our compilation, 'Alive', Piemont deliver a tech house bomb just as ex-pected. The two guys create a fantastic build-up and let it explode afterwards. Everything is accom-panied by groovy arp sequences and flying vocal pieces.
When the bassline of 'Shah Parvaz' by fran&co comes in, it just makes you get up and dance. Short-ly after an intense break with hypnotic vocals comes in and creates tension. A captivating synth se-quence accompanies the track and finally oriental flute sounds come in, turning this piece into some-thing really unique.
'Mutation' by Hermanez gives us different percussive sounds swirling around the room. Additional-ly, a shuffling 16th beat and modulating synth sounds make this wonderfully spacy track sound very alive and energetic.
Matchy & Bott bring in the 'Luvvibe', starting with a forward-driven bassline, powerful snares, claps and shakers. A short female vocal sequence with a lot of space marks the central element of this beautiful melancholic composition.
The track name 'So Strong' is right on the spot for the contribution of Andlee & Kollektiv KlangGut. A bass which is housy and dark at the same time and a hypnotic vocal turn this music piece into a real dance floor killer. Forward-pushing hi-hats coming in in the middle making it even more driving and ravy.

DRUNKEN KONG is the project of D. Singh and DJ Kyoko. In 2010, the two started their project when one day, they
suddenly decided to make a track together. Since then they have released two albums on Christian Smith's label Tronic, The Signs Within (2017) and Where We Start (2020) as well as numerous EPs and singles on labels such as Octopus Recordings, Stil Vor Talent and
Terminal M while they remain active with domestic labels such as Session WOMB. All 7 tracks of their EPs in early 2017 on Tronic and Terminal M have entered Beatport Top 100 Techno chart at the same time, which has made an impact on the Asian and global techno scene. 

Since then, their music has been constantly entering top charts. Their music is gaining a lot of attention/support from
international top artists and DJs such as Carl Cox, Adam Beyer, Christian Smith, Monika Kruse, Pan-Pot, Umek, Hernan Cattaneo and Deadmau5, just to name a few. Their release “Repeat” from Octopus Recordings have entered Beatport Techno Top 10, being supported and played by many artists around the globe.

DRUNKEN KONG has always been active in the Tokyo techno scene, playing regularly at major festivals such as Ultra Japan and in clubs such as WOMB, Ageha, Unit, Vent, Contact and Vision Tokyo. The two are constantly attracting new fans with their unique sound and groove. With their powerful DJ style and charisma, the two are able to constantly amuse the audience while expanding their ideas and skills to the next level.
