This is a hybrid bassdrum I made from two 808 and 909 samples 

My goal was to create a kick that combines the best of both worlds – the rich sub bass ooomph of the 808, and the powerful transient of the 909, which cuts through the mix much better than a soft 808.

I first used this kick on my 2020 Bedrock release "Burn Your Love" – check it out!

Testing out the headless teensy 4.1 version of DirtyWave M8 tracker built by Trash80. At the same time, the 343 Labs discord is doing an Amen sample compo, so I figured it was a good opportunity to whip out some in-engine slicing. This is all raw M8 output.
