Hi, I’m Carlo Richina, known as Carlito to my friends. I’m 29 years old and based in Switzerland. My passion for music started at a young age, and at 16, I created my first mixes using GarageBand. By 18, I was experimenting with the Launchpad, crafting unique sounds and beats.

After taking a break, I rediscovered my creativity during the COVID-19 lockdown and decided to take this passion to the next level. My mission is simple: to create music that inspires, connects, and resonates with people. Every track I release tells a story and invites you on a one-of-a-kind musical journey.

In 2006, I decided to buy my first synthesizer
and form my first musical project called "Sako de Huesos",
focused on industrial sounds, EBM and Dark Electro.
From that moment on I formed several parallel experimental music projects,
always focused on dark electronics, soundscapes and Dark Ambient.

In 2021 I decided to unify all previous ambient ideas into a single project and create AVNOUX,
a dark sonic journey through modular synthesizers, field recordings and noise devices.

My musical projects are:

Experimental Techno full of Psychedelia, Industrial and Minimal sounds; Dystopian Panoramas.

I'm a lab-rat. gear-head. Composer of sonic explorations. Seeker of tone and frequency. Patcher of modules. Twiddler of knobs. Bender of strings. Programmer of sequences. Lover of all things that oscillate, resonate and reverberate.

My main instrument is a Eurorack Modular synthesizer comprised of approximately 70 modules. My favourites include modules from Frap Tools Instruō, Intellijel, and Xaoc Devices. I use a 16-channel Line converter from nw2s to get modular signals into my DAW.
My main polysynths are an UDO Super6 and a Sequential Prophet Rev2.
Production tools are Bitwig with an Ableton Push 2, with two Universal Audio and Focusrite AD converters; and plugins from GForce/Oberheim, Waldorf, UAD, Valhalla DSP, Plugin Alliance, Eventide, Softube, and Roland.
I also compose with electric guitars and basses, Toontrack Superior Drummer, and various Brazilian samba percussion.
