This practice consists of recording and documenting performance under the following principles:

Rule 1: Each performance and its recording shall exist only once. No interruption, no repetition.

Rule 2: The content must not be determined in advance.

Rule 3: The performer shall close their eyes.

Rule 4: Beyond the initial recording, subsequent composition may arise in response, as an echo.

Rule 5: A work attains completion only when published on the Internet, with the date of its creation. If it remains unpublished, all traces must be erased. The praxis may occur only once per day.

The Budding enthusiast that comes, by design or chance, to discover this collection shall, upon Preliminary Survey of its Contents, find him or herself confronted by divers  ‘Fulsome Bloomings, Abandoned Airs and Declamations’, all, indeed, allegedly composed by Messrs Drust & Erskine. 

It is, however, to be Anticipated that the fledgeling aesthete may, whilst hopefully being familiar with the general Thrust of this or that Song, find him or herself Uncertain as how best to approach the True Form of the Musical Pieces, and, moreover, how best to discern the Melody and Intonation: indeed, how to Discover, and consequently Interpret, the Leitmotif. 

Be then reassur'd that the Composers are devotees of Cantabile, and each Song in this canon has been thoroughly Mulled Over and Subjected to Rigorous and Demanding attentions. By this Means, Songs, that may, upon Inspection of the grounds upon which they were first Inspired having revealed a requirement for overly-exacting Polytonality or Interval that may Induce a certain Reticence, have subsequently been Hammer'd into a Shape that Messrs Drust and Erskine aver is Deliverable by one Mode or another. 

Accordingly, Messrs D & E press you oil your lung, fill your chest, loosen your tongue, and hold forth in as fulsome a voice as your maker may have designed for you, and relish every nuance of counterpoint, every flourish and every roundelay here afforded for your delectation.
