The quest for treasure carves a tortuous path
Heavy with scent and endeavour
Taken as a symbol, that innocent dust
Wound round the homestead
Led you away from that which was comfortable

Expressing the need to strike its colours
Expose the flanks, hoist the standard

Naturally flawed like the best of us
Imperfect faith like the rest of us
Not to be sneezed at as expressionless
Nor even Impressionist imperative

The Universal air alive with the tiny hum of distant voices
Eternal priapic malcontents devoid of humility
Bathing in reflected glow of arrogance
Radiating from rafts of mediocre constructs
Artificially produced from over-rated, second-hand psycho-babble

Just for fun. 

I shared a rehearsal space in the basement of Westbeth Artist Housing (please see the photo) in the late 70’s. This music has to do with my dream-memory of the place.

The basement was labyrinthine. Until a few years ago, I still had recurring dreams of that environment. It was constructed of grey painted cinder block or some such stony material. There were many bands in many rooms down there, and as you walked the halls you’d hear all the musics leaking out from under steel doors in cacophony. Often you’d hear the band in the next cell right through your own stone wall as you were playing. That made it hard to record in there. We did it anyway. 

The sonic qualities of this recording remind me of those hallways as do some of the somewhat antiquated guitar moves. And by the way, I love antiquated guitar moves!

A somewhat surreal and odd glide through abstract electronic sounds. I think I like the outcome. Kinda raw mix, exploration took me places and I think it's strangely dreamy. :D But perhaps good enough! Earphones mix? (sorry about that, that's what I have available at the moment) Hope it sounds interesting!

Accordingly, Messrs D & E press you oil your lung, fill your chest, loosen your tongue, and hold forth in as fulsome a voice as your maker may have designed for you, and relish every nuance of counterpoint, every flourish and every roundelay here afforded for your delectation.
