Seiichiro Itoyama offers 4 cuts of blisteringly propulsive techno for Unknown Timeline. ‘Sand and Dust (Greyscale mix)’ and ’Substrata’ carry an introspective weight, with monotonous synth sequences supplemented by a constant flow of textured ambience and percussive elements subtly sustaining energy throughout. ’R.E.M’ and ‘Barrage’ utilize sharp and direct sounds that gradually blend into each other to create an intensely hypnotic drive.

Seiichiro Itoyama is a producer from Japan, currently based in Berlin. 
Initially diving into electronic music production as a means of personal meditation, this has become the foundation of his process - a disciplined, uncompromising focus on inducing an utterly present and hypnotic state of mind through sound.
All the above, as well as a strong desire to distinguish his sound has led him to consciously eschew  using software / hardware / modular synths as primary sound sources.
With a deep interest in film, he began to sample sounds from films.
Every sound (except the kick) is created from sounds extracted from films, processed and altered beyond recognition by effects, done entirely in the box using mainly ableton stock plugins alongside few third-party plugins.
This EP is the culmination of this process.

Takezo Project is originally from Bosnia, now based in Norway.
His first experiences with electronic music started back in 2014 and over the years has evolved from groovy&deep house vibes towards deep, dark and ambient techno. After moving to Norway and listening the silence of the northern landscape Takezo's explorations started to expand, facing experimental and drone soundscapes mixed with field recordings and intended for performing arts. With a background as an architect and scenographer, spatiality, depth and immersiveness of the sound are some of the main determinants in his dark introspective journeys.

Borned in 1993, Kevin Mayer (Avellaneda, Buenos Aires) is the real name of the aka Vinqenn. He started his DJ career in 2012 mixing at private partys, first digital music and later vinyls. Since there, has taken lessons in 2 sound production studios located in Buenos Aires. At the same time, he began to produce his own tracks using a DAW and machines, exploring sounds into genres like techno, minimal, ambient, noise and experimental.
In 2017 and after composing many tracks , he finds his own sound and creates his label called KMR, based in Buenos Aires, Argentina, in which he seeks to show his personality and meet techno & ambient artists that fit with the label essence.

It's quite common for a record company to have a margin of freedom to operate with several styles, as long as all of them are represented within the same approach. In the case of 30D Records, everything revolves around science fiction and sound innovation, the platform is a network of subsidiaries with quite specific functions, each one has a task, and all together they blend in perfectly as a single project.

This orientation towards futuristic or experimental sounds appears in different forms on each sub-label of 30D Records. We can identify their sound as cosmic because of the direct relationship of 30 Drop itself with this type of textures, but this description is not graphic enough to encompass all the content of this platform. Eyes Have It for example is a sub-label in which the experimental sound is redirected to a dark environment, with sequences and structures of the industrial one. But the industrialist himself is a genre that has undergone infinite mutations over these four decades. Today it no longer has anything to do with the transgressive ode of post-punk, this aesthetic degeneration is completely extinct, but its passage has left an enormous legacy and variations that have affected different musical currents. 

Love Crucified is the ninth release published by 30D ExoPlanets, one of the 5 branches of 30D Records. In this case the industrialist is presented with less harshness and obscurantism. Its author is Irazu and in a very simple way he manages to corroborate that currently this genre suffers from a severe multiple identity behaviour.

The EP opens with the homonymous track, a cut in which all the elements develop together a kind of hypnotic effect that surely in an individual way they would not cause. Firstly because of the percussive structure, which is only supported by the figure of the semiquaver and without any kind of accent, avoiding any kind of rhythmic condition, although joined to the tension produced by the arpeggiated melody and the growing atmosphere of soft chords, it ends up provoking a narcotic sensation. With After Beaten, Irazu takes you to a static stage, with a techno that is very reminiscent of the end of the last century, with a constant rhythm and oscillating textures. The third cut is a version of Love Crucifed which the author himself has subtitled "Yelling Meltdown", and in which he completely transforms the track into a more industrialised context, with patterns more in line with EBM. Cal Rosal closes the EP with another acoustic variation, with a deeper sound full of details that appear sporadically from the abyss.
