Excerpt from my life Journal continued...

Meaning is relative and personal meaning takes time. You may not find it until months or even years after loss. Meaning doesn’t require understanding.  

It’s not necessary to understand why someone died in order to find meaning.  Even when you do find meaning, you won’t feel it was worth the cost of what you lost.  

Your loss is not a test, a lesson, something to handle, a gift, or a blessing.  Loss is simply what happens to you in life.  Meaning is what you make happen and only you can find your own meaning because meaningful connections will heal painful memories.

A feeling of darkened perpetual sinking is overwhelming but there will come a point when you’ll hit rock bottom.  Then you’ll have a decision to make.  Do you stay there or push off and start to rise again.  These are things I explored in my suffering.

In my suffering I finally understand what all this is about and how it was all possible now.  The propensity for this evil lies in our weakness before it.

Kierkegaard was right.  There is an awful
precipice before us but he was wrong
about the leap.

In your life you must be as good to you as you want to be to God, in order to be of service to other people in this world.  It's not being selfish it's being self-full.  To take care of you and keep yourself full and healthy, that doesn't mean you disregard everything and everyone.  You want to come with your cup full, like your cup runneth over.  What comes out of the cup is for you but what's in the cup is for me/mine, and I got to keep my cup full.  Everyone thinks we're going to get brownie points in heaven by giving continuously to others well disregarding self and God.

However, what's worse is if they do know.  There's going to be some difficult choices in front of you and you'll have to close doors on people like family members, friends, your child (especially if they're an adult), or loved ones.

You are supposed to get wiser with age but we're not all built the same.  It may take longer for some; the hope is that you haven't lost everything before you figure it out.

In life sometimes you must let those reptiles in your life know who they're fooling with.  You're a meat eater and reptiles are at the top of your list... no seasoning required… STAY PRAYED UP MY BROTHERS & SISTERS!!!

Saying “aishiteru” would be expressing love at the highest level. This term is rarely used even amongst married couples! Japanese culture values actions over words, so once married and deeply in love, Japanese couples know that their love is implicit and rarely need to express it with words.

The onna-bugeisha (女武者) – literally “female martial person” - were a class of noblewomen and members of the warrior class (bushi, 武士) in feudal Japan.  They were trained in both traditional household arts and self-defense and fought alongside samurai men.
