About:
Klordop(TIS) is rooted in hypnotic minimal techno. His personal style is characterised by the rich atmospheric spectrum of electroacoustic sounds – unusual in electronic dance music – driven by irresistible grooves. Expect wondrous journeys for the mind and the body, riding on infectious beats through intense psychedelic soundscapes. The work of the Hamburg-based artist has taken on epic proportions under various project names on his own label Roo Rec. Today his main projects are Klordop (for ambient techno) and Segensklang (for space music).

Raul's "We Hustle Harder" print is part of a series that he created in 2014 when he was in grad school at the University of Texas, San Antonio. Each print from the edition of only 51 is an embossed linocut printed on Stonehedge paper (sized 9 x 12 inches). Each print is signed and numbered at bottom right. His next show is "Doing Werk" at the Fort Worth Community Art Center from September 4 to October 31, 2020. The venue is located at 1300 Gendy Street, Fort Worth, TX 76107 and will be open Monday through Saturday, 9am to 5pm. Due to Covid, there will be no reception or performance, and visitors will be asked to adhere to stated public health measures.

MUSED: We Hustle Harder featuring Raul Rene Gonzalez

David Strother is an electric violinist and composer in Southern California.  Latest albums are “El Tecolote Sings Songs to the Night” and the Space Yard duo’s “Televisions Dreaming,” with lap steel guitarist Scot Ray.  DS has also recorded several other solo CDs including "Azul," which was released in 2014. Along with the remarkable poet Ricardo Lira Acuna, David hosted the popular monthly Eighth Day Arts Poetry and Wine Salon for over four years.  

David's playing has also been featured in both film and televison, including David Lynch's "The Straight Story,” “Carlos Almaraz: Playing With Fire,”and the Nickelodeon animated series "Doug.” He also recently created a score for the upcoming indy film “Daughter.”  

David is also a veteran of the Los Angeles roots/swing/blues scene and was a member of both the Radio Ranch Straight Shooters and Lawrence Lebo's band for many years. He has also guested on many albums in various genres, including Scot Ray's "Earth Circuit," the brilliant rapper Tito Calloway's "Thugelligence," and country artist Davie Gayle's "Amber in the Clay."  Latest credits are on albums from the German electronica artist Morgen Wurde.
