The Pop Cycle is a high energy Seattle area power pop foursome featuring Brett Richards and David Thompson on guitars, Paul Swegle on drums and Jim Freeman on bass.  Our debut album  "Where The Action Is"  showcases the band's original melodic rock music with tunes written by both Richards and Thompson.  Give it a listen - we know you'll like it.  Plus, you'll probably catch a hint of some of our major influences, including The Replacements, Elvis Costello, The Who, The Beatles and Big Star.  In addition to the 13 original numbers, the album also includes one searing rendition of a song called "Ultra Twist" that you might remember from one of our other favorite bands- The Cramps.  The main goals of The Pop Cycle are to have a heck of a lot of fun, rock hard, and celebrate the music that means something to us.  Join us in our pursuit.
