We present you the EP from Anton Levdikov “The Umbra is going wild”. Umbras are the author’s mythical characters, about whom he tells legends about and depicts in his paintings and installations. The EP chronicles their journeys, which become wilder from track to track: through darkness to light, through light to darkness. A long but fascinating journey.

Musically, Anton notes his love for industrial music, acid house and electronic body music. The remixes involve producers from different genres: their diversity continues the path of Umbra. Clubsonica Records continues into the summer season by welcoming AKSOM back to the label alongside debutant INA NIA. Hailing from Colombia, AKSOM debuted his newly coined melodic house and techno alias in 2023 amidst much praise. Clubsonica would act as the vehicle for AKSOM's double a-side debut ‘Artefactum | Saturn', a release which would receive support from Armin Van Buuren, John OO Fleming and Mind Against, amongst others. Noted for his pristine production quality and contemporary melodic approach, the Cali resident wrapped up the year with the mainstage Beatport chart success ‘Velocity', a track recorded alongside American artist Luke Alexander. Meanwhile, DJ, singer, songwriter, and producer INA NIA has emerged with a diverse array of sounds, showcasing her versatility in almost every genre as INA, and in the darker realms of melodic techno as NIA. Her music reflects a harmonious blend, capturing the essence of various genres and delivering a unique experience. Now, combining their extensive forces for the first time, AKSOM and INA NIA make their collaborative debut with ‘Ale', alongside a remix from Nosssia.

Beginning with the lighter monochromes of the original mix, the duo's craftsmanship reveals itself, as nostalgic melodies flicker atop tight kick drums and perfectly contoured grooves, eventually leading to the introduction of angelic vocal phrasing. The main break proves to be highly emotive, flowing through wavy arps, wispy vocal fragments and trance-inspired motifs, charming in essence and building with a classy sense of restraint, before a vortex of drums sparks a cleverly co-axed drop and blissed out finale.

The release concludes with Nosssia making his label debut with the lone interpretation of ‘Ale'. Hailing from Colombia, Nosssia first emerged in 2019 on the strength of early tracks 'Astro' and 'Survival'. Immediately regarded for his melodic sound, the rising talent would be tipped as a force within the the newly coined melodic house & techno genre, eventually earning support from a broad range of tastemakers, from Agents of Time, Artbat, Fideles, Innellea and Tale Of Us to Nick Warren and Sasha Carassi. Projects on respected imprints such as Einmusika, Running Clouds, Siona and UPPERGROUND would soon follow, and with that Nosssia became a Beatport sales chart staple. Now, presenting his first production of 2024, Nosssia makes his Clubsonica debut with a stellar rendition of ‘Ale'. Opting for a more direct dancefloor approach, the Colombian conveys the mood from the original beautifully, for a tougher and slightly less vocally dominant, yet equally emotive and dramatic version that's driven by devilish stabs and siren-like synth flares, making it perfect for those peak time moments.

Berlin-based synth-wave band Dina Summer recently released their highly anticipated second album ""Girls Gang"" via Iptamenos Discos. Donning a decadent sound described by RA as “dark disco meets EBM”, Dina Summer is a collaborative project formed of electro-punk band Frittenbude member Kalipo and dark-disco DJ & producer duo Local Suicide.


The new album is a versatile collection of 11 tracks that delve into themes such as empowerment, outsiderhood, impermanence, nostalgia, and relationships. While their debut album was characterized by its club-centric sound, drawing from Italo disco and '90s electro influences, this new release explores a richer palette of new wave, post-punk, and synth-pop. The sophomore longplayer is more song-oriented, often featuring real bass and guitar, and showcases a more vocal-driven performance from frontwoman Dina, incorporating more singing alongside her trademark spoken words. Yet, it retains the same catchy melodies Dina Summer is known for, offering both indie pop hymns and a few undeniable club anthems.


Now the trio are back with a number of club versions & remixes by befriended artists such as the legendary DJ Hell, dark disco all-star Damon Jee, Italian stallion Phunkadelica & French singer/producer and film composer The Populists (aka Yan Wagner) while kicking off their extensive Europe tour!


The Populists is the club oriented DJ project of French singer producer, Gesaffelstein-collaborator and film composer Yan Wagner. Since 2014 he released EPs and tracks on tastemaker labels such as Lumière Noire, Zone, Detriti, Ritmo Fatale & XXX. On his remix of ""Disco Goth"" he combines laid-back Italo disco grooves with New Beat drums and gives a whole different feeling to the original.
