This track was a (rejected) submission for a pony compilation album, but having not touched it for years, I wanted to release it as-is to serve as a reference point for my skills and technique today and to demonstrate that I haven't completely gone inactive since last I uploaded. At the time of writing, there are several other private tracks in my collection, yet to be released—some are recent album submissions, others are part of a larger self-release.

The song is inspired by the lore of MLP G5. Using melodic passages and sample effects and foley, I sought to create a narrative where Sunny and her friends find the remains of the Castle of Friendship, obscured among moss and vines. As they enter deep into the site, they find a room with a mysterious mirror, and with some effort, they establish connection... and learn about the phoenix on the other side, "envoy of the solar throne," and her fate—

There's a whole backstory for each of the sections of the track, but I'll save that for if I ever rework this track as a VIP someday. I'll leave it to you to guess what exactly the sections are portraying.
