All the way from Brazil we present you @she-wants-me-music who delivered us pure fire. Massive bass lines complimented by big builds with a lot of wobbles in-between. Shilly Shally was made for both clubs and festivals.

Head honcho @nickbowdenmusic teamed up with local bad boy @badjer-3. The two managed to get in the same headspace and deliver something more melodic going for the big outdoor festival vibes. After a few sessions in Badjer's home studio messing around with the Korg Minilogue their incredible remix was born.

Three years ago, during the peak of the Covid pandemic, @nicoefstratiou embarked on the writing journey of one of his most eclectic projects to date. The idea for 'Soma Páei' started off with a synth emulating the ebbs and flows of a body. 

Athenkosi Fadana - stage name 'Athimux', joined the project bringing a new dimension to the record through his empathetic and pristine vocals, so much so that Nico wrote a whole new version to re-interpret the subtly of his voice.

DTR034 - Nico Efstratiou - Soma Páei (feat. Athimux)

Nico Efstratiou set out to record 17 samples that would challenge producers to use them in a creative project. These included the buzz/hum generated by touching an aux, a variety of different atmospheres including a coffee shop, a blender and nearby cars. On top of that he recorded some finger tapping on different materials with different variations and lastly his own vocals.

The young South African has been making waves both locally and internationally. After receiving support from the likes of Gioli & Assia after winning a remix competition hosted by them at the beginning of the year, @casismusic was then flown out to Ibiza in a partnership with Microsoft and Beatport, where he got to experience and perform at the IMS. Since then, he has been pushing out absolute weapons and we cannot wait to see where his journey takes him.

Rampart is a dance number with afro-house and melodic influences. It's got that dreamy feel with his propelling portamento bass line that makes it move!

Rupture is a beautifully written B-side that strongly compliments the A-side of the release. It just had to go!

We feel extremely privileged as our favourite Frenchman returns with another absolute heater! XTC is a straightforward club or festival tune. Its driving bass, hypnotic synth, and repetitive vocals, topped off with the rolling rides, make you want to move all night long.

@holocene_1 has been doing the rounds with releases on @sonnyfodera's '@solotoko', @flashmob-dj's '@flashmobrecords', @the-deepshakerz '@safelabel', and not to forget us at Dtuned Records. He has been pushing out a number of tunes, and we cannot wait to see where his journey takes him!

The b-side of the release features our own South African cool cat, @casismusic. @casismusic reworked the tune into a melodic mover with rhythmic percussions and electronic leads; we can't forget his vocoder work on the vocal tied together with the emotive piano. @casismusic always pushes the boundaries while retaining his own unique sound.

'Praying for the World - Healing for the World'

Music has the ability to connect people across different cultures and backgrounds, and this is exactly what 'Praying for the World' has done. In an online collaboration between US-based singer/songwriter @leewilsonmusic and Moroccan-based producer @djwalidmartinez

Lee Wilson was listening to music at the gym when he came across a track by Walid Martinez. He shared the track on Instagram, tagged Walid, and proceeded to reach out to the Moroccan-based producer. Walid really liked Lee's work and sent back a project for Lee to work on.

Lee wanted to create something that was relevant, something that would heal the world in times of uncertainty and tension. Lee heard 'Praying for the World' on loop like a mantra, decided to lay it down, and added some ad-libs before sending it back for Walid to mix.

Walid and Lee hope that it heals you and inspires you to put love back into the world despite what the world is showing you.
