I felt wondering, being on a journey, relaxed, radiant, moving forward, peaceful, inspired, connected, free, touched, curious and aroused by this beautiful piece of art you created here. Listening to it fulfilled my needs and senses for creativity as well as for aesthetic and growth and spirituality. Being in the moment. Invited to move my head or hips or hands by these sounds of deep light heartiness. Everything seems possible. For me the range of tempo you chose is ideally to fall into the groove. Even tho the first track appears to be challenging to listen at the beginning, it fits eventually. The dynamic and contrast of melodies and sounds makes this mix somehow organic and precious to me. This is probably my most spontaneous set ever that I played on Saturday night/Sunday morning to the beautiful crowd at Herlys festival at Herøya. I would describe it as a musical sound journey shapeshifting through different electronic styles and genres. For me, this represents the end of the Norwegian (micro-burn) festival season and the end of the summer. I hope you enjoy it! :)

There was no way we could reject @tantrut when he proposed to write a description for his own mix. 

"About a year ago I went through a dark period in my life. I wasn’t feeling well after I had partied too hard on a festival in Germany. I decided to stop drinking for a while and one year later I quit drinking alcohol completely during the same event. It turned out to be one of the best festivals I have ever done. I was energized, happy and connected with so many people. The complete opposite of my performance the year before. This mix was recorded right when I got home from that festival. It is dedicated to my Spirit Animal, which, funny enough, is not my dog but my dear friend Paris. We have had many hilarious experiences, and I had pain in my stomach from laughing. So Spirit Animal, thanks for being there in the darkest and brightest moments of my life. This one is for you! Thank you for all the support during all my gigs!! And thank you, Rambalkoshe family, for featuring me!! One day I will visit Armenia and I know I have a home there. Keep on spreading the brightness!!"

TantRut - "Spirit Animal" for RAMBALKOSHE

Label multicolore et organique basé à Paris, Curuba revient avec sa troisième compilation, fruit des rencontres avec la vingtaine d'artistes invités lors de leur série d’événements "Héliotropisme".  Né de la volonté de faire rayonner la scène downtempo/folktronica internationale à Paris, ces événements tenus dans différents lieux alternatifs de la capitale et sa banlieue (Halle Papin, Station E, Grands Voisins, Hasard Ludique) ont été l'occasion de mettre en avant certain·e·s des artistes qui nous inspirent le plus. Chacun de ces musicien·ne·s, à sa manière, mélange rythmes transcontinentaux, textures organiques et synthétiseurs éthérés.
De Buenos Aires à Berlin, de Rio à Paris, Héliotropisme a été un moment fort, marqué par des échanges enrichissants et le début de nombreuses amitiés.  De ces souvenirs, 20 morceaux sont nés, répartis en deux volumes d'une compilation. Pour fêter la sortie de la compilation, Curuba prend le contrôle du Mellotron de 21h à minuit!
