Due to a flight scheduling mix-up, I wasn't actually able to play the last Cherry Beach Promise party, but if I had, this short throw-down is exemplary of what I would have played.

I was originally slated to play a Live-DJ set at Clover Point (Victoria BC) alongside Chris Rozek with our project Cascadia Sound.  Other artists on the bill included Deadbeat & Tikiman, Sunshine Jones (DubTribe) and Cobblestone Jazz.  Due to technical delays with the overall program, we bowed out to give the headliners more time to sound check.  It was a painful call but the right call to make.  Our gear didn't make it out of the car.  Three seasons later, I found a recording of just the DJ'd component to the set from a practice session.  Without the performance employing the warmth of analogue gear to accompany the mix, it's more reflective of the spring than the blazing hot day of sunshine experienced on the day it was originally intended for.
