We are not sure if this is an accident that all of those changes have brought us today to the releasing of Paproota Dub Compilation vol. 4, but we are sure that this release can be perceived as a yet another change, this time not just for us. Cette nouvelle release du label Homeys Records est née de la première collaboration entre Marina P et le producteur poitevin KSD. Une fois le morceau original achevé, le vocal de "Something New" a été livré à l’inspiration de trois autres producteurs proches de la chanteuse italienne qui ont tous décidé de réinterpréter le morceau à leur manière. Stand High Patrol nous propose une version jazzy du track portée par une rythmique aux influences footwork inattendues. TWM, dont c'est la toute première sortie, présente une version stepper taillée pour les soundsystem. Homeys, quant à lui, mise sur des accents très roots avec une flute traversière qui mène le thème. Les producteurs mobilisés sur le projet ont su proposer une palette de sons éclectiques qui représentent parfaitement l’univers musical de Marina P. L’EP sera dispo le 31 mars sur Homeys Records. Attention édition limitée !!
