Basically ever since he was a kid, he's always been around dj and recording equipment. So much so that it led him to becoming a part of a dj crew (Vital Riddims International) during his high school years. After a while, he got so tired of being on that end of the spectrum that he took on doing poetry slams with the organization Teen Empowerment where he met MANY inspiring young artists including Cousin Stizz. He performed at many shows and started to really develop his crafts as a musical artist. It was a great experience over all. After his 2 and a half years there, he joined up with an underground hiphop group called, Boston Troopers Inc. (now Troopside Ent) where he further developed his songwriting and performing skills under the tutelage of its Founder, "Bang Bang Tarzan", one of the most phenomenal lyricists he's ever heard! In fact, Bang Bang T, still influences Alphie to this day. He was in his late teens when he started with them and like any young 20 year old, he started feeling himself so he wound up leaving on somewhat good terms to venture out on his own. That's when he started recording tracks on his own. His roommate at the time, Lenni Linguini, overheard him one day and wanted to help. From there they went on to start SoGravvy Productions where they started producing not only his music, but music with others too. Many songs and shows later, they built up enough rep that they acquired a weekly radio show called The Moment which aired every Thursday from 7PM-9PM on TuneIn at DaCypher Radio. There they promoted other up-and-coming artists from the area. They did that for a year and now have returned to the performing circuit with a whole new vigor! Ready to take the world by storm...
