Reggae addict to the core.
From playing and producing to recording and collecting records, I’ve been immersed in reggae culture for decades. After moving to Edinburgh in 2000, I co-founded StepItUp Sound with Mark (Karawane) and Skeets. We played together for a few years before they moved on to other projects, and I’ve kept StepItUp Sound going strong ever since.

A few years back, I naturally ended up building my own reggae sound system, which I operate across Scotland — and hopefully beyond soon! The name StepItUp Sound System lives on, while Mark now runs Karawane.

In 2024, I built a dedicated garden room studio, now fully operational. Whether you’re looking to record, start a new project, or just connect and share ideas, feel free to link up.
