In April 2019 IN SPIRIT – A holistic music production retreat was facilitated in the jungle of Bali close to Ubud. The idea behind it was to combine the technical side of music production with the practical side of channelling divine inspiration trough meditation, qi gong, breath work and voice embodiment with the goal to create music that is a unique soul expression, inspiring and healing and has the power to uplift the frequency of the planet. The result of this magical co-creative experience can be heard on this compilation. Most of the participants have had little or no music prodcution experience at all before but thanks to a very efficient schedule and passionate teachers they each ended up with a fully finished unique track.

This EP is dedicated to the awakening of humanity and the remembrance of it's true origin as infinite, timeless cosmic beings with an indestructable core that have the power to create their own reality. According to the legends of Lemuria humans were once highly spiritually evolved beings that lived in harmony and peace with nature and each other. Lemuria was representative of great abundance, joy and wisdom and some people believe we still carry the memories of this ancient lifetime in our DNA and can access them in dreams and through meditation. Inspired by the legends of Lemuria and their connection to the current process of transformation and shifting that is happening on the planet right now Arilu has created a hypnotic and deep meditative journey that transcends time and space. Beautiful dreamy synth-pads, lush and spacy ambient soundscapes encompassed by warm harmonies and sweet melodies create an almost extraterrestrial feel and invite the listener to go on a magical inward journey to expand the awareness and delve into the connection with the higher self.

A FULL EXPERIENCE OF ECSTATIC DANCE : GHENT(BL)

I had a great time in Ghent doing what I love doing the most -  holding the whole evening from start to finish -ceremony, DJ set, sound healing and closing circle. 

I bring over 15 years of experience of meditation, yoga, sacred sexuality, coaching and workshop facilitation into the spaces I hold.

I find that when I hold the whole evening, it makes for a deeper journey, more harmonious and with better integration of the experience.

Griet Hinderyckx , the main organizer, was kind and flexible enough to allow me to change the lights and some of the elements in the space, and the result was an AMAZING ecstatic dance evening, where we experienced sacredness, softness, sensuality, raw-ness, connection, Ecstasy and stillness.

This demo track was created entirely with loops from "DOWNTEMPO SHAMANICO" my latest loop-pack and ableton live-template. It was created for producers, sound healers, yoga- and meditation teachers, breath work facilitators, ecstatic dance dj's, medicine musicians and sonic shamans who are looking for a deep organic, groovy, emotional, enchanting, melodic and shamanic sounds for their productions and performances.
